NECESSARY UPDATE - MAIN FILE REQUIRED. This replaces the broken MMDungeonAll03.xwm with a track from the soul cairn playlist. Simple install the hotfix and let it overwrite the main file. Put it below the main file in mod organizer 2 (idk how vortex works)
1.1.1 Changelog:
I had the wrong esp in the 1.1.0 update (-_-) reuploaded with the correct esp, everything should be fixed now, no more updates
1.1.0 Changelog:
TL;DR: Renormalized all the audio in the mod - All music is now 10db louder, and clipping/static issues are fixed. Also removed one track from vampire castle playlist. This should be the last update needed. Massive apologies to anyone who downloaded 1.0.0, silly mistake on my part. but 1.1.0 is perfectly normalized now.
Technical details: the 1.0.0 i uploaded was accidentally normalized twice. once when i converted the original files from mp3 to wav (without me realizing) this introduced clipping and static to many of the files (because the converters inbuilt normalizer is trash), then i normalized the wav's with a batch normalizer that normalized them to 77db when it was supposed to be 89db (because that normalizer is also trash). This made all the music far too quiet in game.
I renormalized the entire mod with a far superior normalizer (which is not trash but actually amazing - 'mp3gain' its called), this time to 88db. Everything is now perfectly processed, as it should have been from the start had i not made a dumb mistake first time around. (-_-)
Future Plans:
At some point i will likely start working on an expansion add on, aiming to add another 10 tracks each to explore day, night, evening and morning. This mostly depends on what i can find online that is good enough quality and fits the game. I have finished an expansion pack adding 357 additional songs, and have no more plans for this mod at the moment.
Hello, would it be possible to create a version of Emeratu using the new Music Type Distributor? This revolutionary new framework completely removes the need to create patches or a smashed patch for music mods!
@DerplYSS Thanks a bunch for this as a music-lover, plz keep up the good work !!! Sadly this mod is heavily conflicted with Immersive Music, any chance you could make an optional version or a patch for it ?
No, as stated in the mod description, this mod is incompatible with all other music mods, and there is a synthesis patch you can look up that merges music mods, and make your own patch.
@DerplYSS Tanks for your reply, the problem is Immersive Music is also created by using Personalized Music, this won't be resolved easily using Synthesis or xEdit/zEdit. I guess I need to choose one or another, but wish there was an easier solution for this...
if you look at the personalized music se modpage it explains how it works, and in each folder (in the emeratu mod) is a txt doc that explains how many tracks you can have for each folder and what you need to name each file, so if emeratu has 12 tracks in dungeons - all, and theres a maximum of 20 tracks allowed, you can add 8 tracks from immersive music, if you rename them 'track name'13.wxm, 14, 15 etc all the way to 20. does that make sense? then you can combine the music.
there is a wxm player plugin for mod organizer 2 you could use as well, to listen to the tracks from each mod and pick and choose which ones you want, rename them appropriately, put them in the folders you want and violla! good luck
the volume is fine on 1.1.1, adjust your sliders in game and turn up the volume on your pc if necessary and if you are using an earlier version update to 1.1.1
Should we make a new smashed patch after installing the expansion pack? or does it work if we already have one with the main file? Fantastic job by the way, been loving the tracks so far!
When you say royalty free do you mean if I upload Skyrim gameplay on YouTube with this as my music replacer, I won't get flagged? lol I'm trying to overhaul music while avoiding copywrite issues
theoretically, yeah, but your safest bet is to just copy this link https://justpaste.it/f37op into your video description, its the credits and licenses for all the music used in emeratu, that way if anyone complains, you have credited all the music, so you'll be in the clear.
youtube will still ID songs it recognizes, but it'll give you a message like "the artist allows their music to be used in youtube videos" and it'll be fine.

It's mostly for testing at the moment. But there is a few caveats i have mentioned in the comments over there.

it requires music type distributor.
