Several years later.... but where are the paintings behind the shrines from? I'd love to have that in my game!

can you add an optional patch that allows for increased blessing duration. and allows the player to have all the blessings at once

Really love the mod! Makes the divines' effects actually feel substantial.

    Possible Bug:
I've noticed on the amulet of Talos, the enchantment says 30% decrease in shout time, but the actual buff in my active effects says only 20% decrease.

I'd like to note that this could very well possibly be from another mod that I have installed, but I'm pretty sure that this is the only mod I have that effects those items.

    Thanks!

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the mod.

I just went in-game to test the issue you described, but was not able to reproduce it. The Fortify Shouts buff (from the Amulet) in my active effects menu displays as a 30% decrease. Using the console to check my character's shout cooldown reduction with only an Amulet of Talos equipped also returns a shoutrecoverymult (the relevant actor value) of 0.70.

Given the above, I submit that your issue is indeed likely being caused by another mod that is overriding record 8850B (EnchReligiousTalos) which determines the enchantment's magnitude. I would recommend either having a look at your load order via xEdit to find out wherein the conflict lies, or simply moving my mod further down your load order so that it is no longer overwritten.

      ----

Edit: I have removed your issue from the bug tracker because I had already addressed it in this reply.

As shown in the following image (https://i.imgur.com/LLsltsX.png), both variants of this mod that edit the Amulet of Talos' object effect are set to a magnitude of 30. If your active effects report a magnitude of 20, *another mod* is overriding this record.

Hi! I don't know if you're still interested in this mod, but if you are I was wondering if you would consider adding "Kyne's Token" to the list of divine amulets. Since Kyne is technically a divine, and the amulet is kind of pathetic considering everything you have to go through to get it. I understand if you don't want to, I just thought I'd suggest it. Great mod!

Apologies for the late reply - it's been a busy couple of months.

I'm thankful for your suggestion (it's a sensible one), but as far as item edits go, I'd like this mod to stick to the Nine Divine amulets.

I think mods such as Zim's Immersive Artifacts (which you can find here on the SE Nexus) already do a good job of overhauling other Aedric/Daedric artifacts - Kyne's Token among them.

    Is this compatible with ordinator?

Yes, Divine Blessings/Amulets are outside the purview of Ordinator. I've run both in my load order for a good while now.

I believe you have shortened not lengthened blessings. Blessings last for 24 hours *real world time* in Vanilla. It took me a while to realize that but it says so on the wiki: "Shrine blessings are active for a period of time measured in real time, not in-game time. So a blessing lasting 12 hours will be active during 12 playing hours." (http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Blessings). Same thing is true of food effects that say it lasts 'x' hours. It's x hours real-world time.

1 second is 1 minute in Skyrim (without mods). So 1 week is 60*25*7 = 10500 seconds play time
    24 hours real-world is 25200 seconds - or enough to play 2.4 weeks in-game.

I think you have shortened how long blessings usually last - cutting how long they last in half and then some. Or maybe you've made them last a week in real-time, but in that case one blessing lasts for 57.6 weeks in Skyrim, lol

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

My mod wasn't shortening the duration of Blessings. As per your second hypothesis, it made them last a week in *real-time*. I do not personally play with vanilla timescale values, but the duration buff I'd implemented was *still* of a much greater magnitude than I had intended.

I believe your math is not correct - 1 week of in-game time (assuming a Timescale of 20) should be 30240 seconds, not 10500. I have corroborated this by waiting 7 days in-game with a Timescale of 20 active. Even so, I thank you for pointing out my own miscalculation.

I've pushed out a small update that makes Blessings last exactly 2 weeks of in-game time (60480 seconds), as opposed to the 20 weeks of in-game time that they used to last in version 1.2.0 of this mod.

This is still a buff relative to the Vanilla duration of 28800 seconds, but hopefully a much more reasonable one. I'm leaving the prior iteration of the mod available under the 'old files' section in case someone *does* want Blessings to last for a very long time.

Your description said "Fortify Restoration" but still just boost healing spells only by %30.

'Fortify Restoration' is the name of the vanilla blessing's template magic effect. While it is true that unlike its *enchantment* magic effect counterpart 'Fortify Restoration', it only affects spells (the enchantment affects potions, enchantments and shouts), that IS still its name.

I see no reason to arbitrarily change the blessing effect's name when I have made no changes to the effect itself - I only altered its magnitude. I do not intend to replace the current Restoration magic effect with the enchantment version as I'd be giving the Blessing of Mara a buff that is not proportional to the one other Blessings have been given.
