Okay, but how do I cure both Farkas and Vilkas? Neither will go with you to save Kodlak and when you get to take them for a cure you can only take one of them... So where's the mod that allows me to cure both brothers?
After you become Harbinger, when you go to one of the brothers for a job, there's an option to ask them what's on their mind, and the brother initiates the Purity quest. Then you take said brother to Ysgramor's Tomb to cure him like you cured Kodlak. After that's done, do the same for the other brother when you return to Jorrvaskr.
Although in the game it reads, that you can cure yourself "permanently", when you do, you still have the option to get the gift from Aela again. Not sure though, since I never used that option myself, but it is there, when I speak with Aela, while cured of Lycantropy. So leaving one spare head for "later" isn't that bad idea, if you make up your mind (and then make up your mind again). Is the head in the jar de-craftable? You know, for people, who already made one and decided to get re-gifted and later cured again.
You mean I wasn't supposed to just put them on a shelf as they were? I thought they made great bookends. Though I do suppose the jar would help with the stench. Good idea!
