ELFX is a great mod, yet even though I like my dungeons a little on the darker side, ELFX also darkens players home, stores, etc. It also gives the players skin a bright glow sometimes. I got tired of have to use a lantern to see inside a player home or store. The LUX series (LUX, ORBIS AND VIA together) is way to dark in every inside there is, period. I still use Lux Via just because of the bridges and different sign posts it produces.
My perfect lighting mod setup came with Relighting Skyrim and ELE. Awesomeness is now what I have. The dungeons are just the right amount of darkness and I no longer have to use lantern to see inside a player home or store or other establishment. Also, there are no more glowing webs as they are as they should be. Almost invisible with the Webs SE mod.
My load order near the very bottom on the left side of MO2 is as follows for those interested:
Relighting Skyrim SE Relighting Skyrim SSE with Window Shadows Relighting Skyrim SSE No Player Homes Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE) Refurbished Lux Via Lux Via Meshes Update Lux Via (patch hub) Lux Via Repaired Whiterun Bridge Addon Reduced Fire Candle Torch Glow Effects Fire Halo Remover
Thank you so much for uploading this and sharing as it is very appreciated. I had sorely missed this mod and now for me I now have the perfect lighting setup.
Thank you again PS I posted a few pictures of what my game looks like inside a player home and in Bleak Falls Barrow. I should note that I use NO enb and NO parallax mods.
I posted about 8 pictures which are still sitting there waiting for the mod author to approve. So that tells me that the mod is not current and not active. So I went back to using ELFX with no enhancer and no hard core, just plain ELFX with ELFX Shadows and the Official Patches Hub for ELFX Shadows. I use Lanterns of Skyrim II in place of Lux Via because of all the patches that Lux has. Some of the Lux patches will not let a person start a game because of a mod conflict. Sometimes the best mods are the older ones. I also use Dynamically Darker Dungeons and it fits well with what I desire. I got tired of stores, shops, and inside houses being dark whereas one has to use a lantern to see.
I am back using an ENB and use Skyrim Re-Engaged ENB for I do not have to do any tweaking with it. For me it is plug and play. I use A Better ENB Rain Drop with the ENB. I am not fond of parallax so I do not use it.
Let me get this straight. You liked this mod. "My perfect lighting mod setup came with Relighting Skyrim and ELE. Awesomeness is now what I have."
But because the author is not active you decided to go for Elfx? Even though that mod was last updated in 2017..
Anyway, im on the same boat.. i dont like dark interiors where you need to pull out extra light to see stuff. But the small issue i have with Elfx is that it also removes certain candles in interiors. And because im also using CS light, i cant fully utilize that mod, because Elfx removes certain sources where cs light attach its lights. Its like i cant find a perfect balance. Its either this or that. Or patch yourself which i dont really want to do at this moment.
However what you can try is other weather mods. Im using Azurite II and it has options to enlight interiors. So maybe you can try play with that.
So... it requires ENB? I am confused. It has ENB in the name, but the description says the showcase SS are without ENB. So, can I run it with Community Shaders?
anything with "enb light" is synonymous with "particle light," which community shaders are now compatible with. i use CS and particle/enb lighting mods and they work great!
Thank you for reviving this mod. <3 I just have one question is this mod still valid to get this and and ELFX working together? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18634
you say and so does MO2 say that elfx enhancer and ele is not complatible but I didn't know that it was still enable on enhanced light and fx but when i run it like that the light sources become brighter and for some reason, they become more defined and the community shaders particle lights sliders for light limit fix work even bette.r now places without light sources are very dark which is kinda of awesome, but when I finally disabled the enhancer for elfx it isn't as defined as it was with it on. So what should I do because both you and the MO2 say the same thing but it looks awesome.

Also, any particular reason why no ENB and parallax?
