For anyone having the "missing textures with the bsa version issue", rename the textures bsa to have spaces around the dash as that is the format the game engine looks for.

Thank you for posting this; been tolerating that issue for a while.

Since the AE version has come out I've noticed that circlets are no longer identified as helms or clothing/jewelry. I think this might be because of the Survival Mode that is now part of the game. I have always turned it off, and will not use it. In reading the help file for the Survival Mode (was curious as to what it would do) I noticed that it assigns values to gear and clothing for warmth. I don't know if this is what is causing the problem, just wanted to put it out there.

Hello! Would there be any possibility of a Creation Club update, for circlets for the Alternate Armors, Saints and Seducers, and Ghosts of the Tribunal? So Madness, Amber, Golden, Dark, Ordinator, Her Hand, light Dwarven, light Daedric, light Orcish, and Silver, not counting some of the more unique CC armors and all.

I know it is something minor but is there a way to fix the fit of the circlets on the character?  On my character they stick out from their head so they are kind of just floating out a little bit from the forehead which doesn't happen on all of them.  The Dragonscale Armored Circlet doesn't have that issue but most of the others do for me.

Hey JKalenad, just giving you a heads up I have a circlet texture replacer that impacts the primary normal and specular maps for the base game circlets. This is going to potentially cause some problems with any of your circlets that are using those specific normals (Daedric, Bonemold maybe?, etc). Anything with their own normals should be just fine.

I've had a user request a compatibility patch, so I was going to use your diffuse textures as a base for the ebony/daedric/etc ones (nothing with its own normal map) and upload a patch to my page. I hope this is alright, given the permissions on your page says use of assets is okay with credit (which I will definitely provide) and leaving a comment (here it is lol).

That is absolutely fine! I'm more than willing to let a patch exist.

Thanks! The patch is up on the optional files on my mod page, with links back to your mod. I only did the ones that were using the vanilla normal and specular maps (Daedric, Ebony, Miraak, and Nordic), and only packed the diffuses so they'll still need this mod get them into the game, etc. :) Appreciate the permissions!

What does 'Circlet Helms SSE - Loose Files, Alternative to main file; does not rely on BSAs' Actually mean as I have no idea?

Mods usually come with .bsa files, which have all the models and stuff in a special folder.
"Loose files" is when all of those files are not in that special folder, but instead put directly in Skyrim's installation data folder.

When in doubt, use the BSA version, not the Loose files version.

Hey on the Daedric Circlet I have a missing texture. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix? It would look perfect on my character and I can't find anything else that would suit. Thanks.

Download and install the loose files version instead.

The main download uses the .bsa so if you're game's archive is missing textures due to: a bug, corrupted file, or a mod then the texture needed will no longer be there.
Steam verify will fix any corrupted files.
USSEP should fix any bugs the game was released with.
If it's a mod then you'd need a patch between this mod and whatever mod replace/moved/removed the texture in need.... or just download the loose files as it contains all the textures needed so you don't have to rely on the .bsa
