First time this has happened to me and it's just after installing this. I trained with Amren, went up a level and trained with him again and got 2 points each of the 5 sessions. Can't say it's this but it hasn't happened before. Not a complaint, you asked for things we see. Always wanted time to go by while I'm sitting, going over my stuff. Nice mod!
Skyrim Souls causes random issues to different people and to others... (read it with Todd Howard's voice) it just works.
In my case my only issue is that I get low FPS when I open the Perks menu, even if I disable it in the ini file I still get low FPS there and only there, outside of that... it's my only issue there, no single crash as described there, and... who knows what may be causing his issues. Maybe his PC specs, maybe another mod, bu is weird to see a crash issue.
Yes i know its my fault... all mod is perfect on Nexus (bruhaha) only in my game not working. (with 700+ installed mods) My CrasLogger always flag the SkyrimSouls DLL file. ALWAYS.

It would prevent the bad habit that comes with the slow effects: spamming fav menu just to get a edge in the fight.
I know you are not the author of the original mod, but i wish we had that.
