I initially made this for an upcoming mod list of mine, but I am sharing this here so other people can benefit as well and as a safe storage.

Tweaks

[Fixes]
SaveScreenshots = falseThese changes allow SSE Engine Fixes to work with SSE v1.6.1130 and v1.6.1170, as well as GOG v1.6.1179. The "SaveAddedSoundCategories = true" was unchanged as the change is reported to be not needed.
THESE ARE NOT REQUIRED WITH THE LATEST VERSION OF SSE ENGINE FIXES (version 6.2+).

[Patches]
MaxStdio = 8192
Solves the "Corrupted Save" bug on large load orders by setting the maximum number of open file handles to 8192.

[Patches]
RegularQuicksaves = true
Makes Quicksaves into Regular saves so they don't cause issues.

[Experimental]
SaveGameMaxSize = true
Increases the maximum size of a save game from 64 MB to 128 MB to fix the "crash on save" issue in long-runnning saves.

[EngineFixes]
CleanSKSECosaves = true  
Delete SKSE cosaves that have no matching save and unnecessarily clutter the Saves folder.


Conclusion

These tweaks will allow the mod to work on the latest version (1.6.1130 - 1.6.1170 and above), while also solving save game issues in large mod lists.

Another version is also up for 1.5.97 - 1.6.640 users, which does not contain the changes required for the latest version, but includes the other changes.

THERE IS ONLY ONE FILE NOW.

Just install and overwrite SSE Engine Fixes. All credits go to aers.
