Tired of over-stuffed player homes with a zillion display racks? Looking for something small, lore-friendly, and highly compatible? Squatter Shacks Falkreath may be just what you're looking for. Adds a small free cabin just outside of Falkreath, with a fun micro-quest to clean it up and claim it as your own.

OVERVIEW
Getting your first home in Skyrim is hard. And until you have a place to store your stuff, you're stuck lugging everything around with you. Skyrim desperately needs some tiny starter homes. More than that, it needs homes for characters who wouldn't be caught dead living in a posh mansion or the heart of the city - hunters, werewolves, reclusive necromancers, bandits, etc. So, as usual, I decided to make my own.
Squatter Shacks - Falkreath adds a "Fisherman's Shack" up on the hill behind the Falkreath graveyard, upstream from the lumbermill. When you first find it, it's run-down, full of cobwebs, and covered in ivy. A journal on a table inside tells the tale of the previous owner, a fisherman driven to abandon his home. Once you put in a little elbow grease to clean the place up, it will transform into the tiny hermit hut of your dreams!

HOW TO OBTAIN
Reading the "Fisherman's Journal" on the side table will add a miscellaneous objective to your journal to clean up the shack using a broom. After you have knocked down all the cobwebs and swept up the dirt, the Fisherman's Shack will be yours!

INSTALLATION
- Download with Vortex or manually.
- Install with Vortex or the mod manager of your choice. If installing manually, unzip the files into Skyrim Special Edition\Data.

- Grass overhaul mods - Compatible! Load this mod after your grass mod of choice.
- Survival Mode - Use Sleep Under The Stars to allow you to get the "Rested" bonus by sleeping in the shack.
