I could perhaps do a 'Full on Exploiter' file that reverts things like the Fortify Restoration loop, Dawnstar chest and Staff Enchanter power leveling. Might be fun for the peeps who want it ^^
Tbh, Aspect of Terror and Soul Trap definitely sound like bugs... Hard to imagine Todd Howard intended players to be able to just spam Soul Trap on dead enemies when the spell tooltip specifically says that if the target dies while the spell is active, fills a soul gem.
I'd love to hear your explanation of fun regarding this, soul trapping a dead corpse (exploitation being you supposed get get 1 soul per creature) Not only is it braindead spamming watching levels go brr... but you can make levels go brr exploiting console command too.
I don't think the author is saying soul trapping dead enemies isn't a bug, they're saying patching it out is unfun. Some bugfixes could harm the game in that way, at least in theory.
spending days in xedit and changlog/bug reports has shown me that most of ussep's changes are inconsistency/oversight fixes rather than actual bug fixes.
Hey there, It was more because I personally like some bugs in vanilla, so I reverted them for myself and I figured some peeps might think the same way. I put it in the 'Skyrim is perfect and just works' kinda joke in the description, but you are of course more than welcome to disagree and not install this <3
With USSEP, you can still do this, you just have to buy a living horse and spam soul trap on it to get the same effect.
It just is more fun to me that a Conjurer or Necromancer practices their spells on corpses before moving on to living targets. Soul trapping a mudcrab is just how I remember doing it, and makes me feel nostalgic for 2011 I guess, haha.
As for simply using console commands, would be easier, but some people want to 'work' for 100 conjuration. You are of course happy to disagree and not install this mod <3
But I think that is the beauty of modding this game, everyone can install whatever they want. From Lore-friendly stuff to thomas the Dank engine and MLP replacers to simple engine fixes, all opinions on what peeps want to do with their game are valid, and that is exactly why I created this ESP for myself and figured 'some peeps may agree and want to have this too'.
I was just literally saying the other day for my reasons for finally dropping USLEEP. Among them were 'fixes' that felt unnecessary or overly done, especially when they lined up with the vision of one specific person who thinks they know best and not a portion of a player base's input. Not to mention the chaotic posts tab on that page not helping at all. Thanks for this small change.
Since this 'patch' requires USSEP as its master I'm fairly sure it is violating the permissions of the master mod. Arthmoor doesn't allow for reverting of his fixes via patches.
You'd have to revert them to vanilla via identical to master overrides. Bringing the original Skyrim plugin record forward, along with the required scripts etc.
Can't do that either, because then you would be slapped with "reverse engineering an existing mod and therefore copying it" - there is no winning.
At least if we assume that some of the patches are kept. Sadly you can't exactly just implement them differently because then it will either be an inferior method of implementation, or just won't work the same. It's a "take it or leave it" scenario.
I removed the requirement, since the ESP is identical to vanilla, just have to make sure it is loaded after USSEP, but most mods get sorted like that by LOOT, anyways.
Having the ESP active without USSEP, just does nothing. x3
Thanks for the kind words, man. This is all for good laughs, and peeps don't have to install this if they don't want to. Freedom is nice.
I hope that it does not get taken down too, I think I will just remove the requirement, since it still runs fine without USLEEP installed, it just does not do anything.

In this case, it is a modder, so thankfully we can revert the change to one some find more fun.

If you have any gripes with USSEP that I could include, feel free to leave suggestions and I could probably make an optional file ^^

However, the .esp file runs fine without USLEEP, it just simply changes vanilla to vanilla and does not do anything.
