Don't know if anyone else experiences this, but the first settlement I enter (that this mod affects) spawns 6-8 bandits. That's great. However, any other settlements that would be affected by this mod just spawn those same exact actors, however they're all dead (since I killed them the first time).
I'm going to try moving the esp lower in my mod list to see if that fixes things; if not I'll update this post later.
man, the mod is cool, it ha sa catchy title, and "it just works". but man you misse dthe mark. you could have named your mod exceedingly simple raiding bandits so its ESRB. then itll be extremely hilarious.
I love the concept of the mod. I also love randomization. I would love to see more randomization of number of bandits. I'd also love to see more randomization of spawn points of said bandits (assuming you used xmarkers) if possible. Possible to use base object swapper to make RNG a bit more easy to navigate.
Been testing this out at Whiterun and It's a lot of fun! I will add though that if you use mods that beef up combat you absolutely want to consider having SPID - Protected Citizens as the description page suggests. Watched 8 bandits completely SLAUGHTER almost all the NPC's outside Whiterun before they were finally taken down by a combination of Uthgerd and guards raining arrows from the walls. So unless your goal is super realism at the expense of possibly killing quest lines, I recommend getting it as a companion mod and at least using the protected status.
I would also like to chime in on having a random variable would be super cool. 5-20 default sounds likes a good range to me with higher numbers above 10 being more rare. With that said having a MCM to be able to adjust settings would be more accessible for players to test things out without needing to exit the game or enter commands into the console.
This looks awesome! The only thing is that the amount of attackers is always eight. That doesn't feel very realistic. Maybe randomize it from five to fifteen or something like that.

Edit: Unfortunately the issue still occurs.
But is there a way to adjust number of bandits if I want let's say only 4 or even better, randomize their number ?

Yes, adding a randomizer from say 4 to 20 would give you more variety.
