This is a simple mod that modifies only the Vampiric Drain spell for Vampire player characters. It's for those who wish to boost the power of the Vampiric Drain spell (in regular form) without the aid of Vampire overhaul mods. There doesn't seem to be anything quite like it for Special Edition so I decided to port it in case others were looking for something similar. It's modular and the strongest version is intended to make the spell deadly in late game. It does NOT affect NPC Vampires.

The original author increased the effects to something suitable for them instead of making the spell scale with the player's level.

The changes for Vampiric Drain are as follows:

Strong version (default) - single-handed:

Stage 1: 15 (from 2)
Stage 2: 25 (from 3)
Stage 3: 35 (from 4)
Stage 4: 45 (from 5)

Strong version alternative mana costs - single-handed:

The mana cost for Vampiric Drain in this version changes depending on what stage of vampirism you're currently at. Being at Stage 1 vampirism, where a vampire's powers are at their weakest, will mean that Vampiric Drain will cost a lot more to sustain, compared to when they're at Stage 4 and their vampriric powers are at their greatest.

Stage 1: 15 damage - 40 mana cost
Stage 2: 25 damage - 30 mana cost
Stage 3: 35 damage - 20 mana cost
Stage 4: 45 damage - 10 mana cost

Less powerful version - single-handed:

Stage 1: 10
Stage 2: 15
Stage 3: 20
Stage 4: 25

More powerful version - single-handed:

Stage 1: 25
Stage 2: 35
Stage 3: 45
Stage 4: 55

Immensely powerful version for higher tiered combat - single-handed:

Stage 1: 100
Stage 2: 120
Stage 3: 135
Stage 4: 150

Compatibility:
By design, this mod is likely incompatible with mods that affect the Vampiric Drain spell. I personally haven't tested them together but I imagine it wouldn't be compatible with mods like Scion or Sacrosanct. Users on the original mod page commented that if they use it with Better Vampires, the spell doesn't follow the "reverse progression" changes and continues to become more powerful without feeding.
