Umbrae Lucem means the light of the shadows in Latin.

This is a variation on my previous Tenebris Lucem, Relighting Skyrim has been replaced by Skyrim is Luminous which covers interior and exterior lighting.

I have kept the original Windows Shadows RT for compatibility reasons and also now included the amazing Smoking Candles & Torches by Mindflux.

The lighting and shadows will not only affect the Base game but all of the DLC, some other mods like new quests and areas should also use the new lighting, some however may require a patch. Smoking Candles & Torches will affect all torches but some candles will not have the smoking effect.

Compatibility

Not compatible with any other lighting mods, interior or exterior, do not use NAT with this either. Not compatible with mods that add or affect smoke effects on candles or torches.

DO NOT USE WS Modules with this as it already contains them, do not overwrite with other lighting mods or mods that affect or change lighting. Should work with Lux Via and Lanterns of Skyrim 2 but its not been tested. Should work fine will most weather mods, some may require patches,

I am happy to work with other Mod Authors to fix this.

Most sound and music mods should be ok but some may require patches Recommended

Load Order Placement & Information Always Below (Overwrite) any sound or music mods. Above your chosen weather mod or below if you want the weather mod to overwrite or affect your exterior lighting.

Screenshots are all from the Xbox Series X with HDR on which is why they all may appear to be quite dark (HDR doesn't show up in the screenshots), in game without HDR and on PC they aren't anywhere near as dark as this, I will re-capture some on my PC.
