For the dirt texture what file do you take from Northern Road mod? I download that mod and it has 10 different dirt texture so I'm not sure which file to replace.
please some good Samaritan could upload the file already modified with those Northern roads textures, it's just that I've tried to do it myself and I can't

p.s. where do we change this in Nifskope? I forgot.
Got it. It's bhkcompressedMeshshapeData -> chunk materials. Now to find the motivation to do this for the regular Blended Road meshes instead of the Really Blended roads meshes so we can have smooth carriage rides instead of bumpy bumps.
EDIT: okay, went through the process myself and it seems you purposefully omitted the bridge meshes because they are set up in a different way and you weren't able to fix them.
I don't understand how this works so I am unsure how to use it. I am using Northern Roads with complex parallax textures. Should I install the parallax version of this mod?
I don't know much about havok. At first I thought this would be an audio replacer until I saw the parallax non-parallax options.
You should not be using this mod if you use northern roads. It will not do anything for you. This fixes the footstep sounds on the vanilla road chunk meshes when using a mod like simplest roads which changes the road chunks to use a dirt texture. Northern roads remove the road chunks entirely and paints new landscape textures where the roads used to be instead.
This mod does absolutely nothing to change the visuals of the roads. It is a consistency patch for footsteps to have correct sounds when using mods that make the road chunks look like dirt.
