Thank you for your response. I performed two Full Scans of my computer this morning. I found that I had a Trojan virus that a previous Quick Scan did not detect! I have just downloaded you mod once more and I am happy to tell you that it is indeed problem free. The error was mine all along. As you also experienced an antivirus warning following downloading a Nexus based mod, I would strongly advise performing a Full Scan. Thank you for you time.
Each of these ClefJ portings sounds really neat! Thank you, GiantPie.
I am already in what will hopefully be a long playthrough. Are any of these mods the sort of thing that's safe to add mid-game? (My character has not yet visited the lighthouse area, if that makes a difference for this particular mod.)
BTW, is there some respected guidance page, written for lay people to understand, that explains what kinds of mods are more safe and less safe to add mid-game? (Grin, then maybe I could bother people with safety questions less often.)
This is safe to add mid-game, assuming you have no other mods touching the location of course. Most mods are safe to add mid-game, unless the mod page says otherwise. It is uninstalling mods mid-game that can have major problems. The simpler the mod, the more safe. And simple means adding basic content such as weapons, armor, new npcs, etc. Complex scripts and gameplay changes are more dangerous. When it comes to installing though the main danger is that the mod doesn't work right, and installing a mod mid-save should basically never brick your save. But in modding, there's never a guarantee.

I recently had the same antivirus popup when trying to download this mod.
Nexus does its own virus scan on all uploaded files. Must be false positives from antivirus software.
