Excellent Mod! Amazing work. This one and your other mods are simply outstanding. I noticed that this character has a blue aura that is constantly pulsing. It might be because of some other mod or something. But I was wondering if there was a way there could be a patch that had her without any default auras or skills that affect spell, or other types of absorption. I think that is what's causing the constant blue pulsing effect on my run.
Mithra is now fully 'personified' in Mantella, so you can have extended conversations with her about why we use magic, and whether there's food anywhere in Skyrim that doesn't taste like Mudcrab Belly... :-)
------------------------
Mithra glides through the Frostfruit Inn with the poise of a High Elf and the fire of a Destruction Mage. Sparks literally fly when she's around, her fingers dancing with flames and shock spells, ready to light up the room or any threat that dares cross her path. Standing at a regal height, she carries the weight of her elven heritage with pride, her robes flowing behind her like a statement of her expertise in the arcane arts.
With a combat style that's as much about finesse as it is about raw power, she conjures flames and lightning like a conductor leading a symphony—the inn's her stage, and she's all about that shock and awe. But for all her spellcasting flair, she's got this practical streak. She knows her way around Alteration and Restoration, too, making her a triple threat on and off the field.
[Let her speak in a melody that's high and clear, with the lilt you'd expect of someone who's walked the halls of the Crystal Tower. She's got that crisp enunciation, but she's not above slinging some casual words over a mug of ale.]
Examples of how Mithra speaks (avoid parroting these examples): Mithra: Is it me, or is the stew here as bland as a mudcrab's underbelly? Needs a touch of shock to spice it up. Mithra: If one more bandit jumps out today, I swear I'll zap him just for breaking my meditation. Mithra: You ever ponder why we cast spells? To bend the world, or because we can't stand the way it is? Mithra: Out of all the nuisances, it's the silence I dread. It's empty—like a void waiting to be filled with light or lightning. Mithra: Let me tell you about the time I turned a thief into a sweet roll. It was either that or let him run off with my coin purse.
Marriage material? Sure, but you better be able to hold your own in a duel of wits or magic. She's essential, all right—essential company if you're up for keeping pace with a mind as sharp as her spells.
In the relaxed ambiance of the Rorikstead Frostfruit Inn, she's as much at home as she is in the arcane libraries of Summerset Isle, mixing her love for scholarly pursuits with the simple pleasures of the hearth. Description: tall + High Elf + striking red expert robes + shock and flame wielder + contemplative gaze Personality: sharp + learned + enchanting + fiery + poised + protective + commanding Scenario: You'll find Mithra by the crackling hearth of Rorikstead's Frostfruit Inn, a book of ancient spells open in her lap, her mind as alight as the flames at her fingertips. First message: With a smile that's both mischievous and inviting, she greets you, "Ah, a fellow traveler of the roads and realms. Care for a debate on the finer points of magical theory, or perhaps just a warm drink by the fire?"
Mithra is a beacon of High Elven intellect and arcane mastery, ready to set Skyrim ablaze with her fiery magic and sharp wit.
The Nyr followers definitely look great, no doubt about that. You have quite the skills to create good follower mods. But there is also one issue, the Nyr asset or followers don't seem to be very FPS friendly for low spec desktops. In other words, CPU/GPU heavy. I had downloaded plenty of follower mods, and Nyr followers seem to cause most of the lag which is a downside for those of us who are stuck with a laptop having integrated graphics card. So.. it would be nice if you someday consider introducing a bit lighter versions of these Nyr followers (as optional file) which would benefit people like me. Even if you don't want to, it's all good, wish you all the best :)
Hey there. That is true, the asset pack uses very High Quality Textures from BnP, so it's heavy. And some characters like Mithra will specifically be heavier. She has SMP Wig, so people who can't afford physics can't really use her. In her case, it's alright for me, this is how I envisioned her, so I wouldn't change her design based on performance issues people may have.
Optimize and Resize everything to 2K textures and Pack them into a BSA. profit! It's also generally good to do this to any and all mods you download. 4K, 8K, and 16K are pointless for gameplay anyway. They are good only for Screen archery. That Will definitely help with performance if you are running your game on a laptop with integrated card. And This one specifically also has SMP hair. So it might be better to avoid her if you like having a working laptop :)
i mean look at her:
She's more High Rez than me in real life. That's running on a NASA PC.
@TheFaceSculptor , Thank you for clarifying. I remember downloading your Thema Nyr follower before, she is beautiful. In fact, she is the only ever follower mod in Nexus who looks like an Egyptian Cleo, and I loved it. Too bad, once I took her out in the open, game started to stutter for no reason. And then I realised it happened only when I turned my camera towards her. But anyway, Nyr followers are great. Wish you a good day :)
@Stillsnow1234 , Thank you, that really helps for people like me. This is the first time I have heard of such a mod. Is there any tutorial on how to use CAO mod for re-texture purposes? I am not much of a technical person when it comes to things like this :)
It is fairly intuitive. Try using it once and see if you are having trouble.

There are instructions for users on the mod page too. I will say though, don't use it directly on the base game data folder. Extract a mod separately to some random directory, navigate to that directory in CAO and then hit run.
Check the properties of the folder you are about to run CAO on. note down size just for comparison with after you run.
Here, the profile can be the default SSE, not an issue: These are my settings for BSA Tab (The images will be around for 7 days): 1)'create BSA' can be used if you want to pack mod files into BSA 2)'Extract BSA' to be used when the mod itself comes in a BSA and you suspect it has High rez textures that you want to downscale and then repack again into BSA 3)You can run CAO on same mod files multiple times to get the feel of how it works, not an issue.
Meshes Tab: Usually you can leave it unchecked, except for maybe while converting mods from LE.
Textures Tab: check all options, optimize, compress, mipmaps, resize by size to 2048 (2k)
Animations Tab: Again, unnecessary unless converting a mod from LE
Try out various options. And like I said never run the program directly on Base game Data directory, until you get a bit more experienced.
yes, I noticed)) I immediately liked the preset and was waiting for a full-fledged follower. And the skills very good, I only wanted a couple of unique abilities, but these are minor things
Hm, isn't that link the free one? Can you tell me what you get from it? There is a free version of BDOR Hair for sure, I can try to find the correct one to fix it.
