The Cause - Reduced Cut by TateTaylorOH and Jelidity is a fantastic mod that makes the wonderful assets and dungeons from "The Cause" available to those who do not like the questline. It removes the questline and consolidates the two Mythic Dawn dungeons into one larger dungeon. However, the mod also changes the location of Varlais Cavern / Rielle, moving it from its original position at Arcwind Point to just outside Bonechill Passage in Falkreath, in line with the Beyond Skyrim: Bruma "Halls of Rielle" patch's alternate location add-on.

This change is problematic for lore reasons, as Varlais Cavern's original location was much closer to the location of Rielle in Tes4: Oblivion, and the new location is not even near the border of Skyrim. Additionally, the wonderful mod Neugrad by Schlitzohr adds a small orcish encampment in the exact same spot as the new Varlais Cavern entrance, necessitating a patch.

I resolved these issues by reverting the exterior changes made to Varlais Cavern, returning the entrance to its original location at Arcwind Point. I also re-generated the Navmesh to make sure followers can enter and exit the dungeon without issue. 



This mod should be compatible with everything that touches the interior cells of the original Reduced Cut mod, including add-ons and patches. Any mods or patches that rely on the new exterior location of Varlais Cavern are obviously incompatible. You may consider this mod a patch for Reduced Cut and Neugrad, but Neugrad is not required and this mod can be used on its own (with Reduced Cut of course!).

This mod is a replacer esp for Reduced Cut, and still relies on the assets from the original mod. Install this on top of Reduced Cut.
