About this mod

This mod replace any kind of not shadow casting candles and fires lights with shadow casting ones at a given percentage. I shared ini files with 5, 10, 20 25 percent of replacements.
Since shadow casting lights might cause problems, one needs to decide how much he is willing to risk.

Since shadow casting lights might cause problems, one needs to decide how much he is willing to risk. What you risk?

You might experience lights turning on and off if they are more than 4 shadow casters in the same room (if they were set as portalstrict) or 4 in the same cell if they weren't.

So you may want to activate the esp, that is flagged as ESL, only when playing a mod that adds new or modified locations and dungeons that are NOT patched by your favourite installed lights mod, such as LUX or ELFX or others, because such mods places lights in the best possible way to give a great overall effect and this mod has chances to ruin it (but honestly not so much as I was expecting...test yourself if you want).

LUX is mostly untounched by this mod because it uses mostly its own lights that are not touched by this mod, so this mod will pump in only when needed, id est only when playing content not covered by Lux and its patches.
(there are some very few exceptions tho)

You can turn off and turn on the esl any time during a gameplay since it doesn't contain any script, only few dozens of new records and an innocent ini file.

I made this mod because I play mostly mods and very rarely some vanilla content, and too often the lights in mods is not well made, or just too often authors are too shy or lazy to place some shadow casting light (just my guess), since it requires some calculation or more probably because they prefer to avoid any chance of reports of flickering effects :)

Well I prefer to have some random problem than to have all boring lights without shadows. Of course placing them randomly they will not always go in the best spot that creates the best effect but there is the chance that they will do.
I set the replacing random so everytime you load the game different lights will be replaced with shadow casting ones and you might try to have more luck :P

This also contains the same "dancing" effect of the other mod Dancing Light mod I released, and using both go very well in trying to improve the lights in mods that are NOT patched by the best lights mod.

The "dancing" effect might be lost with the enbs not tested for the other mod Dancing Light (that mod is not required tho) for the reasons explained in the the other mod page. You can find the list of tested ENB on the other mod page.

Special Thanks to:
too many modders to name them, so I have to thank all modders making Skyrim the best game possible, because it's a bit like LEGO, you can build it yourself and play
