    Notes on update 0.4.0

Sorry for the silence, I've been working on a Stormcrown update on and off since July. In late november I decided to just scrap everything and begin from scratch, with all the knowledge I've learnt since I begun this project. The result is a more stable, performance friendly, balanced and better looking experience.

The BETA version for 0.4.0 is available now, and the reason is to collect feedback before I fully release it. This means the list is subject to change, if there's something you dislike or something you would like to see added please share this feedback with me, as it means more than you think.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here or in the FUS Discord, my channels can be found at the bottom. A trailer and video showcasing some gameplay will be posted soon.

This list perfect.  I'm amazed how well it runs on my 3080, especially considering that it looks as good as anything else that I have tried even madgod.

My only problem is that I am trying to add AE Content, because I have practically done everything there is to do in Skyrim

The wonderful  -Skyrim Initial Setup (VR)-  is working on another small Load Order of mine, so I know its possible.  However, your list's complexeties have me stumped.

Would you consider making a version (or optional MO2 selections) that could work with the AE/CC content? Please!

After spending a couple more hours I'm happy to say it works.  I think the main thing that I missed from the -Skyrim Initial Setup (VR)- guide is I didn't have the new files overwriting your "Stormcrown Fixes & Tweaks"

So far so good playing you amazing Mod List with AE/CC content.

I have to say, Your modlist is the perfection Skyrim VR!

    Hello!
first of all I want to congratulate for the modlist. it made me come back to skyrim vr and its running great.
    i got a small bug tho, i dont understand much of mods and enbs so maybe its an easy fix but i couldnt find it by myself;
some lightining effects (mainly silverware reflection and the sky at night) got a weird bug on my right eye only: its like half of the right eye light has a different render, making it really weird to look at some places, really ruining the experience.

if anyone could help me with that, would mean a lot. thanks in advance

seems like the problem is the fovated value... problem is: adjusting it will only affect my left eye, not the right one

THANK YOU so much for this! As a scrub to modding this is by far the best (and only) list to fit my needs!

Lightweight. No Lux. No insane location overhauls. No crazy patches that have literally everything as a master. I tried FUS but didn't know what I was doing with the dummy plugins and patches. With SC I was easily able to slot in a humble selection of miscellaneous mods without any hassle.

A good amount of meat and body. Nothing "extra" to bloat up load times or script lag. Visuals are just right. The only list where I can be GPU bottlenecked instead of CPU bottlenecked without having to rip the whole list apart (and then failing).

Thank you! The mod causing the sparks is called Separated Slash Effects X but its named "Slash Effects VR" in MO2

Just FYI, this list is still in the works. Its playable from start to finish, but theres still a lot of things Im going to tweak. Especially when it comes to visuals. But yeah im very happy with where the list is at currently. :)

New update sounds great from the changelog, can I safely update my existing installation or would I need to redownload the whole thing?
Edit: Nevermind I already jumped the gun and did it, looks like it worked without having to redownload everything :) It did delete the few mods I installed manually though so guess I'll keep that in mind for the future.

Yeah, you can safely update an existing installation :)
      Glad it went well.

When it comes to manually added mods, add [NoDelete] (with the brackets) to the name and wabbajack wont remove them. So for example if I added Bruma to Stormcrown, the name in MO2 would be "[NoDelete] Bruma"

    Hello,
I wanted to thank you again for this modlist. And to share my successes in getting it to run better.

So A few days ago, I decided that I was tired of wired vr and gotten myself a WiFi access point. And now I can finally use Virtual Desktop's Asynchronous Spacewarp feature, and let me tell you, THAT THING IS AWESOME.

I've got this modpack to ~70FPS in open fields with the NAT III ENB on. Of course I had to use DLSS, but for my little 3060 it's a huge achievement. It runs great.

Thank you so much for making this pack. Still love it. Looks better than FUS and Yggdrasil, and is more lore friendly than MGO. A perfect pack for me
