I'm pushing the limits already (with available fps) so it sounds like this would be too much of a performance hit... but wow, some of those outdoor shots are impressive: it's easy to forget how cartoonish the default colouring/lighting is until you see it next to this kind of photorealism. Thank you, love the reshade so far. I did have to disable magic bloom, and the RT effect, but everything else is enabled not much fps loss. The RT effect was causing fps drops, and when the inventory was opened, it came up pitch black with RT on. When it was disabled, the fps drops went away, and the inventory opened up normal. Using SkyUI. The magic bloom was nice, but with Auto HDR from windows 11, at 4k resolution, it was too bloomy for my taste. Everything else including the colors look wonderful!
Today I will make a more optimized preset and yes, there are bugs, this could be due to RT effects or because of reflections, this shader is new to me and it just does an amazing job with reflections, but I need to master it better. There will be 3 presets, this is what is then optimized RT and simple color correction .
I agree, it might be worth giving up dynamic AO, that is, one of the shaders, but there is an artel for this and I’m working on it, this is only the first version.
I'll track for sure if you're not done with it since it does look great. Also much respect for taking constructive criticism like an adult. Too many authors dont. Endorsed!
