Hi all, thanks for stopping by. Just updated the patch to 1.1 because I accidentally left the Witcher Horse Expansion as a master, it isn't needed. The only requirement is the Animated Carriage mod.
Hello again.. while my patch stays true to the original vision of Vicn's Carriage mod by simply making sure the textures are correct, I know many people will want to have the horses completely replaced by whatever horse replacer they use instead. This was beyond my skills, but now there is a patch available, by the wonderful WillOhTheWisp!
Hi Bectile. I'm using Steeds of Skyrim - Visual Horse Overhaul, and as soon as I loaded up Skyrim, AC horses uvs were messed up. I downloaded your mod, but AC horses still look a fright. Any help is appreciated.
Hi there. I can see why you use that mod.. the horses are cute! Unfortunately, that mod overwrites all the vanilla horse textures with its own textures which are laid out completely differently than the vanilla ones. Since my mod simply makes sure the carriage horses use vanilla textures, they don't fit right.
WillOhtheWisp, creator of Witcher Horse Expansion has a bunch of horse mod patches here: Animated Carriage - Horse Replacer Patches. He actually replaces the horse with the matching models from the horse mods, and he says he would be interested in making another patch on the mod page... I'd ask there if he'd make a patch.
Yes! The horses are so adorable. ^^ Oh ok, so AC's horse would have to be replaced by Steeds. When I searched for a patch earlier, WillOhtheWisp's mod didn't come up in my results. Thanks for the link, going over there now.
Hey, I'm a lady. XD And I looked at the files in Light Horses and they don't touch the vanilla textures, so you don't need this patch to have normal looking carriage horses.
But, if you mean to make the carriage horses look like the Light Horses, that mod replaces the horses completely, not just textures, just like the Witcher overhaul. The Animated Carriage mod has a couple animated nif files of the horse running and walking which I *think* are used in the statics (the carriages you see in game), I'm not sure how you could replace those with the Light Horses models.
If the skeleton is similar enough you could try and copy all the extra movement information into a Light Horse model file to create a new animated nif but I suspect it wouldn't work without tweaking.
I first heard this song on the Batman Forever soundtrack. I've never heard such an upbeat version of this song, lol. Kudos for giving me a laugh with your video. Adding to the humor: I'm listening to a Let's Play of Gopher playing BG3 and this Passenger song playing in the background has me laugh-crying.
obviously you have failed to consider that some people may enjoy having a giant teeth texture on the horse's ass. j/k, great work bec. once someone makes this work with NR then i will dl it.

Take care and have a great day!

I'll be keeping this patch available since I personally enjoy seeing vanilla horses out of nostalgia, so no worries. :)
