I published version 0.3.0 yesterday, I am going to update the documentation in the next few days and afterwards take a break.
After this break I will focus on streamlining the API, development process, and documentation in version 1.0.0. This version is not planned to contain skips for new quests. I might try the Meridia Daedric quest in 1.1.0, and some other non branching quests.
If anyone wants to make their own skips for quests, they are free to do so. I have made a new forum topic so people can announce and advertise those skips so that people know what is being worked on.
Hey there, have you made any more progress on the mod and with quests? Was just curious, since this is such a fantastic mod and all. It's so beneficial to modders and testers being able to complete all those troublesome quests.
I'll be really glad when the day comes where you add the Civil War, for both sides.
Maybe Dawnguard, or Dragonborn too. What's the current progress of the mod? And what is planned?
Good news, I did some work today. It is a lot of trial and error, but the first quest seems to work now. I also included adding the Lesser Ward spell to the player, as you need a ward to progress the quest.
But because this quest has a lot of objects to pick up or interact with, I am going to use the slower approach to at least some of the quests. That means that I cannot use the default SetStage command everywhere, the scripts will have to move the player to characters and other aliases and interact with them.
It is more work, but ultimately safer in this case.
Nice! Glad to hear more progress is being made. As for the word wall maybe you could teleport the player to it perhaps? I'm sure there must be a simple solution. Best of luck! Looking forward to hearing more.
I think I made 1 to 5 properly now, but 6 has a slight problem requiring manual input from the user. For now, I implemented a messagebox at that point to warn the user. I did use WaitUntil to allow the quest to automatically continue after said user input, so no long wait times.
7 is still in the works, but I made some progress on it as well. I haven't tried 8 yet; have to try to see if it is feasable with the Staff of Magnus and Eye of Magnus combination.
Excellent news! Hmm, I see ok. That's fine, sounds good like the safest option. No long wait times is good.
That's good, sounds like you are making good progress at least. Alright. Will be good once you finish the College of Winterhold Questline, it's one of the longest most tedious questlines, I enjoyed it but I don't like replaying it as it takes far too much time.So glad to hear you are making progress.
Alright tested it, everything seemed to work great and I was able to complete the College of Winterhold Questline pretty quickly. Great work! Thank you.
It was kind of interesting getting teleported around so much and seeing the quest end quickly in bits and pieces, almost felt like watching a movie.
Hmm, you should not be able to skip that quest, to be honest. Because of its side effects dependant on player input in the negotiations, I decided that you could only skip the quest up to the negotiations. Then you can do the negotiations and after that you can skip the rest.
I will check the script tomorrow, see if I can lock it down further.
The exception being if you have finished the civil war, you should indeed not be able to skip past that quest. Those buttons should be greyed out for you. Can you run "sqs CW" in the dev console to see which stages of the CW quest are set?
Is this compatible with Anniversary Edition? Does it need to be anywhere specifically in your Load Order?
On my old computer I used 1.5.9.7 Special Edition with no problems. But on my new Computer with AE it has a problem. The problem is, it loads fine and shows up in the MCM menu except the tab to select the quest files to skip appears blank so nothing can be selected, the other tabs still show up normal, just the quest skipper tab, which makes it unusable. I'm wondering if this is an issue with Anniversary Edition, since I didn't have the issue on Special Edition.
Hey there, my apologies for a late reply. Yes, I reinstalled both PapyrusUtil and your mod again and SKSE.. Didn't work, had the latest version of SKSE. Tried moving your mod lower in the left panel load order of Mod Organizer 2, still wouldn't work. Then moved PapyrusUtil far down and just before it almost at the end and that managed to fix it. So both are near the end on the mod name list, left side load order of MO2. Thanks for the response though. If anyone else ever runs into this issue hopefully this will help them, it took a while to get working again but I'm happy I finally got it.
This is a dream mod of mine. This will be amazing for non-dragonborn playthroughs. Being able to skip Dragonborn DLC completely and having full access to the island (Just imagining the Dragonborn already freed them) will be amazing. Excellent work Zincwing!
I am on the new version and it is not appearing in the mcm menu no matter what I do. Seeing past solutions I have attempted to use the previously mentioned 'setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1' it does not work. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
I've had the same issue, it appears that the plugin is not appearing after downloading so possibly or probably a Vortex issue, I tried manually installing but makes no difference - however loading in v 0.1 and the plugin is present and correct

That's fine, wouldn't be a problem.
It's better to be safe than sorry. Please do keep me updated if you make any more progress, would love to hear more if you do.
I did have to make changes to the API which I still have to document. I did finish the skipper pause power.
And that's good.

The instructions are visible after opening the MCM.
That it works at all with the scripts I've got running is awesome.
THANK YOU!!!

Anyway, looking forward to the next release.
