    Hi friends!
About the compatibility with the HDT-SMP mod:

    • [Version .1] HDT-SMP Ysmir Armor Patch: All my files are 100% compatible.
    • [Version .2] HDT-SMP Ysmir Armor Patch (Fix): Install all my files after it, and let them overwrite all.
    • [Version .3] HDT-SMP Ysmir Armor Patch (for CBBE 3BA): Install my Fixes (Fixes, Companions, Crafting, etc.) after it, but don't overwrite the mesh files. My other Optional files like Helmets with Hair, Ysgramor, Kodlak, Steel, Ahzidal, etc, install them last, and let them overwrite all.
About "don't overwrite the mesh files". If your mod manager can't "manage" it, install it manually. Or unpack the mod, remove the meshes (but only the duplicate ones, as some of my new meshes are not in the HDT patch, like the helmets for beast races), and pack it again, then install.

this is giving me a headache your saying it's 100% compatible with HDT-SMP (which i only have because an armor set list it as required.) but when i go to the download it says it's "Not compatible with the HDT-SMP mod."

so can i or can't i use this mod while HDT-SMP is in the mod loader?

So I chose the "Steel Armor Replacer" version, but in the game, the steel armor has been replaced in the inventory only, but once equipped it just looks like regular vanilla steel. I couldn't identify the problem with SSEdit either since apparently nothing makes changes to steel armor. Any advice here?

The 1YsmirArmorSE - Steel Armor replacer by Xtudo.esp plugin makes direct edits to nine Steel Armor Addon records, and here it's working as intended. Check out if those edit aren't been overwritten by another mod.

In all nine instances the 1YsmirArmorSE - Steel Armor replacer by Xtudo.esp is the last one making changes to those records. I also placed in last in the load order so it makes sense that it's being the last one making changes. There is one instance for SteelCuirassAA where even tho your mod is the last one making changes, Immersive Sounds makes three changes that your mod doesn't overwrite related to MODL - Race which is two records and 1 one related to SNDD - Footsteps Sound. Not sure if this is even relevant but I don't really know what other information to relay here.

      Addendum:
Even tho  SteelCuirassAA is the one which has those 3 records not being overwritten, the rest of the armor pieces which don't have any records not being overwritten by the replacer also suffer the same issue, the mesh looks correct in the inventory and when dropped, but when equipped it looks like regular steel.

I want to know more, so allow me a question: what is the point of uploading both ESL and ESP options? Isn't ESL what everybody uses since the lack of limit?

Hi. The original mod includes both ESL and ESP plugins, that's why I created two patches.
And here all the ESP files is flagged as ESL (they are called ESPFE), so they also won't count in your load order, like an ESL.
All my ESPs (when it's possible) I flag them as ESL, in all my mods. So it really doesn't matter if you install my ESL or ESP patch.

Hello. I have the original mod installed. Which of the main files do I need to install? Which extension (esp. or esl.) choose?

Hi. I recommend you ESL, but the idea is that you install the same version that the original one.
The ESP is flagged as ESL (ESPFE) so it really doesn't matter which version.

First, I install the HDT-SMP Patch [Version.1] . Then the Armor Fixes file and the ESL file of each of the other main fails?

First install the original mod, with the ESL file.
Then My Patch for it (ESL version), and finally the HDT-SMP Version.1 patch.

From my mod you only need Ysmir Armor - SE by Xtudo - Fixes ESL and Minor Fixes. Then the HDT-SMP version 1.

I understood. Thanks. Are the other files optional or are they included in the above?
And another question. Can I install Ysmir Armor - SE by Xtudo - Fixes ESL and Minor Fixes files using Mod Manager?

    Hi, it's me again.

Just curious are these intended or can be improved?
It seems like the fur doesn't cover enough back skin when drawing 2 handed axes and looking at it from a certain angle:

When standing still, you can see the same thing:

Hi. I don't know if it is intended, but some clipping or problems like that are expected in certain poses. This is mostly on how Skyrim Skeleton bones work, they are far from perfect. In vanilla armor this is not noticeable as they mostly are one block mesh.

Hi, thanks for all the hard work.
If possible, please consider patching this issue of when sneaking, left leg thigh skin comes out:

Done! Check out the Armor Fixes file (v2.0). I also fixed some other minor things. Have fun!
