    EDIT: 1.31 Released.

    • Added ESPFE flag back (this increases file size). Safe to update mid-game.

    EDIT: 1.3 Released.

    • Added four new Greetlines to Malthyr Elenil; added three new scenes to New Gnisis Cornerclub; added a conversation between Dark Elf player and Ambarys Rendar; reduced file size; added 24 hr reset timers between scenes (if using "realistic voices" [you should be] I don't think the NPCs will converse with each other repetitively as a rule of that mod, but the timers are a fail-safe...); fixed a faulty condition belonging to Neetrenaza.
    • Unfortunately, dropped the ESPFE flag... I was tearing my hair out trying to make 1.3 a light plugin (don't do this yourself unless you test it and know it's working, which is very improbable)... On the plus side of no ESPFE: the file size is smaller! (Don't fret, I'm trying to bring the espfe flag back)
    • Safe to update mid-game.

    EDIT: 1.2 Released.

    • Corrected faulty dialogue conditions resulting in Viola's dialogue playing for all NPCS; carried over USSEP fixes. Safe to update mid-playthrough. Sorry for another update so soon!

    EDIT: 1.1 Released.

    • Corrected many grammatical errors; removed useless temp.wav and temp.lip files; adjusted dialogue conditions to not play aggressive lines towards the player if friends, married, or completed blood on the ice (most characters have undergone these edits but not all...cough...Rolff); and adjusted Viola's dialogue toward Orc players to not be so overwhelmingly hostile if the player is in a neutral or friendly state with her.

Next update (1.4) will add (possibly add) the following:
ellipses shall be removed where I deem it necessary; dialogue conditions for one of Ambarys Rendar's Greetlines towards Nords will be adjusted for the sake of consistency; Rolff's "nerd" idle line will be removed; and I'll probably revise/remove some of Belyn Hlaalu's lines as well.

This mod adds so much to the WH atmosphere. The only thing I don't like is the line "Windhelm's for the Nerds!" - it was fun at first, but they keep repeating it over and over and IMO it's a bit immersion breaking.

Yeah, I'll remove that one in the next update. I definitely understand, lol. A lil funny but get olds fast and just not something people in Skyrim would say. Releasing my next expansion very soon. I'll update this one after that.

Will you add more for other cities? like Solitude and Whiterun?, because this mod is so cool and I love it! Thanks for making Skyrim more lively!

I find it odd that Windhelm has such a reputation among the fan-base as being a town of all bigots. The only people actually characterized this way in the game are the beggar and drunk, exactly the type of people most likely to latch on to any excuse to be hateful, and (unsurprisingly) the dunmer. Considering it was the only city that's accepted dunmer refugees in 200 years, and is still the only city in-game with a sizeable foreign population, I think the case could be made that on the whole Windhelm is more accepting of outsiders than any of the other cities. Riften, another border city, makes a good point of contrast. As does Markarth, the center of an ongoing violent conflict over race. The only reason I can think of is that players might believe what Brunwulf has to say, even though he's a political climber doing the classic thing of lying about the person currently in power in hopes of stirring up dissent.
I'm curious what the rationale is for putting "lore-friendly" at the front of the description of a mod that turns everyone in Windhelm into bigots. It seems more like a general rewriting of the town. Do you mind sharing your reasoning for writing the dialogue with this focus?

I don't know where you got the notion "I made everyone in Windhelm a bigot". In fact, I wrote many of them to counteract the more bigoted residents. I probably should have included more examples in the video, but that's why I included some in the images tab.
And frankly, I find your argument rather absurd. I'll tell you why:

-"Gray Quarter", the insult is self-explanatory. The very name emboldens the usage of words like "gray-skin". This name was not implemented by a drunk or a beggar, nor a Dunmer (discounting Dunmer experiences seems a strange argument btw).
-the segregation of the city, and the constant reminder that the Dunmer no matter how successful they may seem, are still treated like second class citizens at the end of the day. Sure, Belyn Hlaalu (the most successful Dunmer in the city) owns a farm but at the end of the workday, he goes home to sleep in his hovel in the "Gray-Quarter".
-"Windhelm is a cold city, and I'm not talking about the temperature"- carriage driver.
-Even once the city is liberated, racial tensions are so high between Argonians and Dunmer that they're still not allowed within the city--although this could be construed as a flimsy excuse since the real issue would probably be all three together, if not primarily the outrage it would stir in the Nord locals.
-upon entering Candlehearth as a Dunmer player, you're told that "it'd be best if you leave".
-Ambarys Rendar hates Nords--so far as not even caring if a murderer is stopped or not, since only Nords have been killed.
-Argonian dock workers all mention the hostilities between themselves and Nords, the majority of the workers directly expressing their distaste.
-Argonians aren't allowed within the city on the basis of "for their own good" while getting paid pennies on the dollar compared to any other race.
-There's literally a quest designed around convincing Torbjorn Shatter shield to pay his Argonian workers a fair wage--whom he calls "boots", btw.
-another scene with Brunwulf and Malthyr, where he laments on how terribly the Nords treat them.

TLDR: There is so so much more I can list. But that would take up the whole page. Clearly, Windhelm is a city enflamed by racial tensions. That's the whole vibe of the city that Bethesda very purposefully set up as the "entrance" so to speak. Like, how Riften you get shook down--thieves; Solitude, the execution of a Stormcloaks supporter--the Civil War; Markarth, Weylin killing Margret--the Forsworn; Whiterun, conversation between Adrienne Avenicci and Battleborn--sets up the undecided stance of the city in the Civil War and neighbor vs neighbor nature of it; Windhelm, Suvaris getting harassed and racially discriminated--a prejudiced city.

      I appreciate the question, though.

If you exclude Galmar from the picture, Ulfric himself isn't racist (given he possesses Khajiiti-Libertarian literature stored away in his dorms like a closeted furry he is), but the ongoing racial feuds between the three residing ethnicities are the byproduct of his obsession with beating the Civil War.

The Grey-quarter was actually a thing since the Eruption of Red Mountain and the following refuge crisis (according to Teldryn Sero's backstory). And the mod author is right, the city is literally enriched with verbal racism compared to the other Stormcloak aligned holds.  There are the strange cases with the three residing High Elves in the area, and of course Shahvee during the butcher finale (tho she probably snuck past the guards to enter the market district). But aside from that, nearly every refugee/quest worker in the city gets rebuked and harassed almost daily by the residing Nords.

Hi, I was just wondering, would Jayserpa's Innocence Lost quest expansion & skyrim reputation's patch for his quest expansion be ok to use?  I'm thinking it'd probably just be some inconsistent dialogue, right?

It's compatible, I use it myself. Just load this one after more racism in Windhelm.
