MCM Helper seems to be such a mess. I've been steering clear of mods that require it... but Kenora Eswedahl begs to play her flute by campfire. She says it's the perfect way to end a day of mammoth skinning.
So how hard of a requirement is MCM Helper? What functionality is lost without it?
Update: oops. I now see that you list it as optional lower down in the description. Still, I'm curious what functionality will I lose without the MCM? What are the base settings?

I'd have to change the Campfire scripts to add the animation there. And the power is just a fade to black, I don't think the animation will look good with it, unless the player stands in front of a tree.
So, short answer is no. But I might add a woodcutting animation in my other mod, to be used with Woodcutting Tweaks.
When the wood cutting animation starts, the camera rotates 90 degrees to the left and then returns to normal with the other actions. I don't know about animations, so I'm wondering if it could be an incompatibility with Hunterborn Animation or Immersive Interaction or Customizable. You know, it happens to me when I have to repeat the animation of chopping firewood, I cut firewood to have enough kindling to prepare the fire, then it asks me for kindling to light the fire and if there is not enough kindling and I have to cut firewood or a bucket again, the second time is when it happens. In any case, I will continue using these animations, they are essential for my skyrim, thanks for the mod
Is my problem with animations NOT this mod. I have many animations and configurations for them. Many years ago when I played Skyrim on PS3 I imagined mods like this and here we are now so thanks again
No problem man. It maybe be a camera setting mod or an animation mod that makes the camera follow the wrong node during an animation. It's probably focusing on the AnimObject A or B node during that animation (the log moving when being hit with the axe) and the camera rotates with it, instead of focusing on the character.

The only thing that certainly conflicts is the Cooking animation for Campfire from Hunterborn Animations, disable that.
In any case, I will continue using these animations, they are essential for my skyrim, thanks for the mod
