There's a mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30248?tab=description) that has a feature that I don't find in others... It's the Deposit Respawn feature...setting...respawn rules...respawn days....and to be able to control ore respawn...
I have read more about it on oOMariselaOo's site (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/73168), but my environment is AE, so I can't compile this mod. Advanced Mining and Faster Mining Plus SE cannot be added for the following reason: Advanced Mining also rewrites MineOreFurnitureScript and rewrites all of MineOreScript. Therefore, even if it could be compiled, the defects cannot be anticipated. Faster Mining Plus SE rewrites the functions of MineOreScript into an Event with the same name. Therefore, we could not combine them into one Script.
Since upgrading to 4.5+ getting this error when building bashed patch "The above exception was the direct cause of the following exception:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "bash\mod_files.py", line 190, in load_plugin File "bash\brec\record_groups.py", line 652, in __init__ File "bash\brec\record_groups.py", line 251, in __init__ File "bash\brec\record_groups.py", line 172, in __init__ File "bash\brec\record_groups.py", line 47, in __init__ File "bash\brec\record_groups.py", line 262, in _load_rec_group File "bash\brec\record_groups.py", line 78, in _group_element File "bash\brec\record_structs.py", line 523, in __init__ File "bash\brec\record_structs.py", line 329, in __init__ File "bash\brec\record_structs.py", line 569, in loadData bash.exception.ModError: MineoreScriptSwitchHub.esp: ModReadError(FName('MineoreScriptSwitchHub.esp'), (b'ACTI', b'RNAM'), 650, 65"
The dummy record for the script check was causing an error, I removed it in the 4.52 version, so I don't think the error will occur. Thanks for letting me know!
the experience setting in MCM is not working for me, I am using Smithing XP Mining - Tanning - Smelting and I set it to a low value, but I still get a lot of experience when mining, any ideas what I could try please?
I don't know what's going on, so I'll check just to be sure, but have you introduced it in the middle of the process or overwritten the mineore script?
thanks for the quick reply! and you're right, thuldor's mod has loose files, so I unpacked your bsa and gave it priority over Smithing XP.... after a quick test everything seems to work fine, I don't know if this is the best way to do it, but it works haha. thanks for your mod :)
MCM shows up correctly for me but when I mine I only ever get 1 x ore each vein. This is using Vokrii and CCOR, and with CCOR set to 3 ore per vein in its MCM.
Thank you for telling us about it. Maybe it is an error in setting the script condition. The linkage between Vokrii and CCOR was the most difficult part, so it will take some time to check. Please forgive me as I will check again including the bug reports so far.
I reviewed SCRIPT and remembered! Vokrii had a Perk that doubled ore and was competing with CCOR. Annoyingly, this conflict was one where you had to choose one or the other. I figured that introducing vokrii would mean that players would be immersed in the way Perk increased ore, so I made vokrii a priority. Therefore, when Vokrii and CCOR are introduced at the same time, Vokrii Perk will be applied, followed by CCOR MCM settings. Furthermore, there was also a conflict with “Ore falls on the ground when mined”, if Vokrii is not installed and this mod and CCOR are installed at the same time, the number of pieces should increase and fall on the ground.I would appreciate your continuing to let me know about what you think is a glitch.
Thanks for checking. The glitch is that mining with these two (and this mod) yields only 1 x piece of ore. You're supposed to get 3 in vanilla. There is nothing on the Vokrii page to indicate that this baseline was changed, i.e. with the High Yield Mining perk one presumes you would get 6 x pieces of ore.
They have been very helpful in going over it many times. Thank you so much for this thoughtful feedback, which is invaluable in looking into the problems with the mod! I'm also working on other mods, so I'll look into the issue and fix it, although it may take a little while.
I would like you to check, is there anything in sseedit that conflicts with the global values of my mod? This mod is using a free ID in Hearthfire.esm for the global value to put ESL flag on. if this ID conflicts with another mod, MCM may not work.
Hmmm, so it is not because of my mod? Why not try the old well known method? First, try having my mod's global value set to 1 and restart MCM. set MSH_GLOB0_MCM_Default to 1 setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1
I have tried redownloading, reinstalling, making your plugin having highest priority, lowest priority, and I can't make it work. For some reason, it doesn't recognize this global as a valid value. Tried even on new games, etc etc.
set MSH_GLOB0_MCM_Default to 1 Didn't find any incompatibilities on SSEE :c
I think that the mod isn't loading for some reason. Can't make it work at all. Even with new version, it keeps saying that the variable is unknown.
Edit: before this mod, I had 67 MCMs. After I installed the new version and ran the code below, it showed that 68 MCMs were found. But when I opened the menu, it wasn't showing this mod's menu. Still, globals aren't found, and even the spell you added isn't showing. All globals shows as if they are unknown. setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1
Hmmm, I don't know why it doesn't work. I tested with both 1.5.97 and 1.6.1170 in vanilla with all mods removed and MCM was activated. I don't know exactly what your environment is, so I don't think I can respond.
Seems like Improved Traps (Slightly Dangerous Edition) is not being detected in MCM (I'm using it with USSEP & CCOR). Or is it the addon "Mining Making Noise" from that mod that triggers the detection? Apologies for the confusion!
Nevermind, it helps to re-read the description. Apologies :D
Thanks for letting me know. Just to be sure, you didn't uninstall CCOR or any other mods once you put them in, did you? I actually operated MCM with only Ars Metallica and could not see any glitches, I checked the script and it was still not disabled due to anything other than CCOR and Vokrii. Sorry I can't help you.
Since the experience function has been implemented, you can set it up in the following way: You can enable Ars Metallica in MCM and set the experience value setting from 35 to 90. Or you can set the Global value MCM_GLOB2_MCM_EXE to 90 in sseedit and then enable it in MCM. Note that if you have Vokrii or Complete Crafting Overhaul Remastered installed, it will be automatically disabled to start conflicts.
