It's finally here. The beautiful abomination you have been waiting for. This is the ultimate combination of:
- JK's Skyrim (All in one + Interiors)
- BigHead's Riverwood Overhaul
- T'Skyrim - Riverwood
Ultimate Riverwood makes Riverwood the woodcutter's dream metropolis it was meant to be.
Worry not, this does not turn this peaceful town in a busy trading hub, but offers nature all around with a nice player home that allows you to relax in a warm bath while enjoying the view and watch others doing the hard work.
Leaf Rest included
Enjoy this beautiful view ...
...while a prompt opens up asking you to remove your clothes .
I know, I know. That's why you get it all, and it is ready for download NOW.
Ultimate Riverwood is not a patch that carelessly removes objects to avoid clipping. No, we don't do that. The aim of this mod is to keep pretty much everything any of the base mods adds. If there is overlap, things will move to a different location to preserve as much as possible.
You love huge convoluted cities and towns, right? Why else would you still be here and why else would you have clicked on this mod page?
Even that small hut with the training dummy got moved to a place that makes sense to prevent overlap with the newly placed mill. Enjoy your bow training
Rules for removing objects:
- Redundancy (Some objects simply existed twice like planks on the floor)
- Semi-redundance (Twice T'Skytim had a house rebuilt whereas BigHead had ruins at the same spot. I removed the ruins)
- Once there was a carriage that did not fit anywhere and did not add to the overall feeling at all
And that's it my friends. Everything else got preserved. Before you ask: Yes, I was able to preserve that huge bridge
You may rest in peace near this naked stone beauty and regret that you are dead while all the beautiful girls alive are embracind their super jiggly physics boddy
I know that you will never play the game, but keep on modding. So at least you shall enjoy the images.
Believe it or not, even the right hand side of the town you will probably never visit unless you are an immerson junkie has a lot going on
The whole town is a real beauty and there is even a bathhouse hidden somewhere.
I won't show you this here, you need to check the images and load the mod in game.
I'll show you a nice little blooming tree instead
... but you probably don't and rather go complaining in the comment section
JK's Skyrim:
- JKs Skyrim.esp
- Riverwood Overhaul By BigHead.esp
- Riverwood By BigHead - Patch Performace.esp (Select in FOMOD)
- T'Skyrim Riverwood with Leaf Rest.esp (Leaf Rest option in FOMOD)
- JKs Skyrim Leafrest Patch.esp (Automatically selected in FOMOD)
For BigHead's Overhaul we want the performance version. That is, because it does not add additional trees. I know, you like to have as much stuff on your screen as possible, however there are so many houses and other things added by all three mods together. The trees would not fit anyways and have huge overlaps with many houses. Trust me, there are enough trees in Ultimate Riverwood.
It does not matter if T'Skyrim or BigHead's overhaul loads first. LOOT will do the sorting for you.
The plugin is ESPFE/ESL-flagged.
The mod does not delete anything, but moves deleted objects to -30000 and sets the "initially disabled" flags. So even if any mod will touch any of the 'deleted' objects, there won't be deleted masters.
I use Ultimate Riverwood with all of the below
- All of JK's Riverwood interior mods
- JK's Riverfall cottage
- Willybach's Apothik Guild (highly recommended. Makes the area around Riverwood even more epic)
- Skyrim Bridges
- All of Cathedral 3D flowers for best visuals
- Enhanced Vanilla Trees
I run this on a handheld with an iGPU (GPD Win Max 2, 7840u). Sure, I target 30 fps, but my machine keeps that stable.
When I let LOOT do the sorting, I get a gap in the ground. I have the suspicion that this is being caused by Landscape fixes. To solve this, just tell LOOT to sort the mods later. Add them to the 'late loaders' group or something.
All the authors of the included mods allow to make compatibility patches as long as the original mod is required as a master.
Ultimate Riften fulfills that requirement since it can not run on its own.
