How do i get this to work with Ecotone Dual Sheath? I ran the patcher, so other shields pop up like they are supposed to, but the shields from this mod only show up in their hands when equipped, but disappear when "sheathed".
Great mod! It does so much to make Skyrim feel a bit fresh again!
Seems like people on both this page and the LE page since way back have run into the problem of only "halv the armor showing" as in, the body part had no on-mesh texture. Same thing happened for me but it started working again after I disabled "Dragonborn Female Body Replacer" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15546 Most people probably use CBBE or UUNP and so on, but it might still be relevant since this file messes with armors and bodies just like any other body-mesh mods does. So if you're having this problem try disabling any bodymod or armor-mesh changing mods.
Dont forget to get the SSE Patch of cource: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19558
I love these armors! Now I'm on the path to replacing all of the vanilla armor with historically themed sets. Any chance you'll be doing a pack for the StormCloaks?
There are also, not really medieval, but medieval-esque armors made by NordwarUA, though the ones uploaded here are uploaded by others usually, but he's the creator.
You should make a patch for the stormcloak soldiers to use the Eastmarch armor. I saw your reddit post that said you don't think it makes sense, but many people who study history know it makes sense and would prefer to have the option.
Or at the very least give us a guide on how to do so.
I solved this problem in a other way. i use Stormcloak Battle Armor Replacer and the Optional File, so my Windhelmguards use the Stormcloakbattlearmor and not the Eastmarch Armor from this mod.
By that logic you would want solitude guards to all wear imperial armor? The way i see it some are guards and some are soldiers, two different uniforms.
That's not the same. Windhelm is ruled by the leader of the rebellion, so it makes sense that the guards are also rebels. Solitude is ruled by Elisif, but used as a base by the Imperial Army. That is why in Solitude I have both, the guards of haafingar and soldiers of the Empire.
