1) What is the current penalty for not making repayments for a loan? Or is it just 'free money' without repurcussions if you don't pay. 2) I hope in the future it will no longer be one system regarding the deposition box. Not relaly immersive that you can drop your stuff in one hold and then pick it up in another.
Idk why technically this mod should be able to be converted to .esl but every time I do it just breaks the mod for some reason where none of the scripts load.
Been to every steward in the game and none of them have the banking dialogue options. Have I missed something? I've tried on both a save that's been used a lot (40 hours or so) and a brand new save. Any ideas how to fix this?
So far I'm not completely sure why this happens I had issues with the dialogue not appearing during development as well. I'm working on a 2.0 update that adds several features and revamps all the dialogue so hopefully this will be fixed(With the new dialogue I haven't had issues so far).
All I can say is I would try loading different saves maybe going back a couple of saves, or disabling and enabling the mod. It seems to randomly not appear in version 1.0.
I think this has to do with the dialogue conditions or .Seq file not being loaded for some reason?
Whenever my character goes and makes an investment in a business; I see nothing after that. Perhaps those investment profits could somehow be calculated and end up in this banking system as well.
That's probably a feature I'd add in a future update, I'd need to look into how the investment system is implemented in vanilla so I can try to integrate my mod into it.
Yeah I made the mod in a way where it should be easy to port to xbox I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I was thinking about trying to refine the mod a little more before I put it on more platforms.
Well if you would like I can port it, or defer to you porting it, either way. But if you would like me to I have no problems with it, and of course would credit you in the description of the modpage.
Yeah, it seems that the interest value should be 0.015: 1-1/2 percent? On second thought - 168 hours is only 14 days, so these are approaching loan shark interest rates, 5pct compounded by 24 installments is not pretty, if I remembered correctly, that means that you would owe more than 3x your loan principal w/o any payments after one year!
Yeah, I wasn't exactly sure what the interest rates should be. Loans were more quickly thrown together than the regular bank account & are probably going to be changed significantly in future updates.
I didn't want to base it off of real world interest rates because gameplay wise I wanted it to actually be enjoyable to use a savings account besides just role play value.
I like the concept of this mod, and look forward to adding it to my load order. I tried tying the dialogue to the Treasury House instead of hold stewards through xEdit. I was able to add the new relevant condition, but could not delete the old one. Any tips on that front would be greatly appreciated.
Also, is there any specific reason as to why the values of gold ore and gold ingots were changed?
Originally I was going to make gold have weight and I was changing it to make ingots equal their weight in gold coin. But that idea got scrapped bc it was so annoying to try and transports large sums of coin. I was going to revert those changes before I published it but I guess I forgot.
A very cool idea, if this idea could be fleshed out a little it would be a very popular mod I would imagine. Maybe a loan shark system where if you fail to pay back the loan hostile thieves guild members are waiting for you when you next sleep having stolen all your gear ready to punch your lights out. Maybe eventually dark brotherhood assassins hehe
Yeah whenever I make an update for this mod I was thinking about implementing a system where hired thugs would keep coming after you if you had failed loan payments.

Would it be possible to make it an esl flagged esp?
Thank you.

I also heard this can be caused by too many plugins and apparently a feature of SSEEngineFixes that fixes this is not enabled by default.
