Possible lore explanation for why these foods are so overpowered: You are eating fragments of the Daedric Princes themselves, who are eternal beings who did NOT sacrifice their power to create Mundus. Eating the divine--even in comparatively tiny morsels--should be a big deal.
Granted, imgas, cave worms, and leeches are much more mundane, so nerfing their respective food items can certainly be justified.
I sadly do not have survival mode installed so I highly encourage people to create the patches for the mods they love. I don't mind if you upload it as your own mod or if I do the uploading (with credit, of course). If you do former, please let me know so I can provide a link in the mod description.

I use SunHelm.Also, if possible, an Eating Animations and Sounds patch would be perfect.
