Weird... this replacer is messing with his name... I only see squares instead os his name with the mod installed... Isnt it usually related to game translations?
You can fix the block letters yourself in xEdit, open this plugin, navigate to Non Player Character, copy the correct full name and short name over from the master plugin (or make a patch if you don't want to alter the mod directly).
I checked again and did do a little adjustment, though I don't think that would cause the color difference. And I double check the name as well, please download the file now, if it has the same issue I suggest to put it on the bottom of you modlist
Still getting blocks instead of his name with version 1.2, and his head and body colours are very mismatched. If everything is standalone that shouldn't be happening?

Thank you for a mod that is handsome yet unique compared to others (no more block-faced, blond and pale Nords in sight). I think dark haired male non-elf complex followers are rare so I like his features, and his sly smile oughta charm you quickly. To me he looks like a proper rogue who's seen the world now instead of the "I haven't been out in the sun for years, I only wield battleaxes and drink nord mead" looking fellows - and nothing wrong with that, my two favorite male followers look like that, but I really wanted to find something to fancy for once. So thanks, and endorsed!
Hey, thanks for the nice captain. I like his slightly crazy look. As avallanche pointed out, the esp included in your mod replaces Bal's name with Chinese, so other language environments will have garbled characters. I made an esp (sorry, just only esl version) that fixes this. If the garbled work is too much trouble, I'll send it to you (you can publish it under your name). By the way, I can easily fix it with xtranslator, so send me the esp version of the file and I'll fix it easily. It's a tough mod life for non-alphabetic people, I know.
So glad you enjoyed it, I was out of my house for family events during Chinese new year, that's way I was not able to fix the problem until now, thanks for reminding me.
Oops, thanks. Hope you had a good vacation. By the way, I noticed yesterday when I was in contact with Val that his hairline texture is specified to the wrong place. The texture you included was not referenced and his scalp and hairline were blue-purple. I have corrected the references in the three nif files /mesh/val/hair/ and /mesh/val/111.nif . Sorry if I fixed it in this update.
Heck, I'd like 2nd pic outfit name, too. They both look great.
Also, this replacer is fantastic. People may gripe that it doesn't look like the original Val at all, but it's really well done and looks great in general. I appreciate that new model looks good, but also looks unique. So many replacers have a generic Ken doll beefcake look to them, but this guy looks unique and exotic and I appreciate that. I hope you do more replacers, presets, or whatever, because you have knack for it.
Glad you like it. Should get the outfits from Patreon, Team Tal, if I remember correctly, they are in 2 collections, Bloodborn and Dark Soul. But the mods have been deleted due to copyright issue, sorry can't help.

New file 1.3 is messing with his name. I've got squares instead of his name
...Though that would be easier accomplished if I could download it, is there meant to be 0 files? :'D
