Remember to download Window Shadows RT first. Then overwrite with this mod if using the main file.  The optional beta file is standalone and doesn’t require Window Shadows RT.

Pro tip:  Install the Lux split meshes (ONLY, not the rest of the mod) if not using LLF.  Overwrite the LUX meshes with the meshes from WS.  It will help with flickers.  It wasn't flickering much for me, anyway.  So, YMMV depending on the rest of your set up.  But it does help.  I don't get flickers at all.

    Ver 1.0 worked fine.
Ver1.1 crashes before the first logo appears.
Can my NetScriptFramework crash log help you?

If you are on a version of SSE prior to v1.6.1130, make sure that you have Backported Extended ESL Support installed.

Which should take precedence on the load order, "Skyrim is Luminous.esp" or "Shadows.esp"?
By the way, I have also installed "SiL - Window Shadows RT Patch.esp".

I let WSRT overwrite SIL.  That way I keep WSRT's look, for the most part.  Try both ways.  Use whatever looks best to you.

since this overrides nifs, is there a chance for a patch to re-flag parallax back into the meshes that use them?

    Sir Zanderat!

    Really good progress!
Playing around LLF - so good

Now, in Dragonsreach - no fake light from braziers. So good! Thank you. Endorsed!

By the way, how important is it to use Skyrim is Luminous and its patch?

What will it give for lightning?

It's optional.  SIL does complement WSRT Updated and covers off cells not yet completed.  Just use whatever you think looks best.

Using Beta + skyrim is luminous. There are 2 flickering windows in Honningbrew Meadery.

    Hello, great work!
Here are a couple of before and after I have made using SIL with WSRT Updated and Ultimate:

Dragonsreach has the biggest difference by far. Does this look right? Can this be because of the SIL patch included with the Updated version? I also have the Ultimate versions files overwritten by Embers XD, TB's Improved Smoke and MIST by Ramccoid.

      - Do not use the Ultimate version with SiL, It's meant to be a standalone lighting mod
      - The Ultimate version should win every meshes conflicts to work properly

You would need to make a patch.

In RS mod page, there is a version for this mod. Is it enough or should we do another patch?

That one is based off of the original WSRT.  A new patch is need.  It's easy enough to do in xEDIT.  Simply remove any cells that WSRT Updated modifies from RS.

Can this be used with elfx as a lighter weight more compatible alternative to elfx shadows?

I see there is a patch but it is considered out of date.

I saw you mention a skyrim is luminous patch, but I am not seeing it in either fomod.

      Not compatible with ELFX.

The main file (v1.4) has the SIL patch.  The beta does not.

    Hello,
I'd like to port the beta version as well, would you agree?
It doesn't require the original wsrt , am I right?
I'd port it as a separate mod, leaving the previous port as it is, as a stable version.

    Thanks
    Fatal

Sorry, but the beta is still in an active development, it will be ready to be released as a standalone mod sooner or later, then we can talk about porting it
