    Note: If you are experiencing flickering stars, it is related to ENB Star Animations.
    Make sure to use these settings in the enbseries.ini

    [SKY]
    StarsAnimationTime=0
    StarsAnimationDensity=1.0
    StarsAnimationIntensity=1.0

    or turn them off completely by setting

    EnableAnimatedStars=false

    Looks stunning. Your Auroras made me say "wow" when I first saw them. I know this mod doesn't cover Moons, so what Moons retexture do you recommend?

    appreciate all the wonderful mods you make 👍
    but I'm having a slight issue on my end, and hoping you might know why or how to fix it?

      thank you! are you using any mod that changes the galaxy/nebulas? the texture itself has been adjusted and triple checked with offset.
    2. this was my initial thought as well but after removing all meshes and textures from other mods that might conflict, it still looks the same.
      do you think Moons and Stars would cause an issue like this?

      I'm using that mod myself as mentioned in the sticky comments. Hmmm I'm not getting this on my end, that's weird indeed

      Same here. Im not using a weather that edits the shape of the sky mesh or any other sky mesh edits. This is my only galaxy.dds loaded as well.

      I will take a closer look and see if I can somehow get rid of it. It’s just hard to eyeball since I’m not getting this in my game. If I can narrow it down, I’ll push an update.

    Works perfectly except for flickering reflection in water bodies. I use Water for ENB and the flickering only occurs at night. I turned down the Star Animations to 0.3 but maybe I should turn it off completely? Any fix?

      Yeah I guess it’s related to enb water and star animations. You can try to turn them off as suggested in the sticky comment.

      100%. Tried a different night sky mod and issue still remains. Turning off star animations did not work so it's gotta be enb water related.

      Thanks for elaborating and confirming that it´s due to enb water!

    slightly unrelated, your mods are staple in my game because I mostly do playthrough in solstheim. do you have any recommendation for cloud replacer to complement this new sky canvas? 🤭

      ethereal clouds is a pretty popular mod. I noticed there seems to be a working port for real clouds so maybe worth looking into that too.

    I disabled animated stars in my enb preset (Rudy ENB for NAT 3) but I'm still having flickering stars. Otherwise a great mod, endorsed.

      There's nothing I can do I'm afraid. My testers and I didn't have that.  And almost all ppl who are using this mod don't either and there's quite a number by now. The only thing the ones experiencing flicker have in common is nat3, but even that is unlikely bc VR wabbajacks are using that weather and it has been confirmed to be fine.

      Yes I do use NAT3. However with the Cathedral stars I don't have such problem https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20301. This is what I've been using before.

      my stars texture has a higher number of small and tiny stars, maybe that´s causing the issue for you. but like i said, it´s not happening for thousands of people. a light twinkle which is kinda realistic, but no flickering.

    Hello,

    I have a brutal transition sometimes, for exemple it's green a second later it disapear and then the sky change for an other color (i've seen it only when i travel by night for exemple from high hrotgar to whitrun) what could cause this ??

    Thank you

      That must be related to the weather or sky mod you are using. My canvas doesn't touch the skybox. Just Auroras, Nebula and Stars.

      No clue what else could be the cause I'm afraid.

    Even with the suggested ENB settings I still get a lot of star flicker. However, the auroras are absolutely incredible.

    Update: Not sure what was causing it (I did play around a bit with a couple different ENB setups, but came back to my 1st one), but no more flicker. I get to use your night sky and the ENB I like!

      Same. Deleting smaller stars from 'skystars.dds' removes the flicker but is a lot of work without destroying the authors good looking stars. Haven't found a stars texture yet with no effect so far, below suggested STARS S.E. also flickers for me, but less. This, if you have the patience, gives perfect results. I don't have that patience lol

      Turning off DoF (depth of field) in ENB fixes it in all areas not covered by clouds. But I want my subtle DoF ;)
      Reducing "Bokeh shape max size" in 'enbdepthoffield.fx.ini' also reduces the flickering

      Method that worked for me to point where flicker is very minimal and natural, was to use Fever Stars version as base, open it in paint.net, use 'Blur effect' -> 3,0, and compensate it with 'brightness/contrast' -> constrast 50

    In the video all I see are greenish type auroras. I've seen pink, and white in real life, and in the game without any mods, there was this really neat purple looking one.

    Does your mod only put out green auroras?

    it's the stars man
    the tiny tiny tiny stars

    this one looks absolutely incredible in VR, due to how it makes the world feel SO HUGE

    i think i've tried every night sky mod by now. there are so many but they all feel too close, you never quite look up at get a sense of these far off celestial details.

    i do get a little flickering in VR but honestly don't mind it. just feels like the stars are twinkling :)
