    • Changed inventory tab check so the menu is visible when the mouse hovers a bindable item, this avoids the tab check that is suspected to be responsible for the rare inventory check in 1.5.97
    • Small tweaks to advanced binding menu
    • Add support for translations

      Interface\Translations\SpellHotbar_ENGLISH.txt
      translates MCM, other languages are just copies of english, actual translation is
      up to the community. File encoding ist UTF-16 LE BOM.

      SKSE\Plugins\SpellHotbar\localization\translation.txt
      translates SKSE plugin, format is UTF-8. Replace with a translated version.

    • Add support for keybind icons instead of text. Requires ImGui Icons (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/114790) to be installed (different styles work to). Can be enabled in the MCM settings. Recommended for controller buttons
    • fix: The old "cast spell from mouth" animation would play for half a second after casting a single-cast dual wield spell #25
    • added additional supported spell packs
    • minor fixes/cleanup

    This will probably the last test release with new features before the 2.0 release.
    SpellHotbar 2 will get it's own mod page on release.

    Hi, couple of questions, is this ok to use with SE and has anyone got this going with controller?

    I just want to use the dpad, just thought it would be cool to try it with a two hander

      strange, since it automatically adjusts to your screen size, do you have some other scaling mods that destroy that? Or also some windows desktop scaling can cause issues.

      I use SSE Display tweaks to render the game at 1440p and stretch it as borderless fullscreen on my 4k monitor. That's the reason then?

      Could be, resolution is retrieved from the game window at startup. This is needed to load the fonts in an appropriate size.

    This mod is unusable for me atm. Whenever it is loaded it causes Skyrim to become.... transparent? My game will be see through and I can see my desktop through the game. After the main menu it "fixes" but whenever I get hit by an attack or spell, my game will become transparent and I can see both my desktop and the game at the same time. I have no idea what is causing this or how to fix. I can confirm that it's this mod itself that is causing it, as the problem dissapears when I disable this mod, and only this mod.

    Edit: With V2, this seems to be fixed for now. Thank you so much for this!
    Edit 2: With V2 I can't seem to have a way to change the settings, as Spell Hotbar doesn't appear in MCM. Any fix?
    Edit 3: Nvm yall, MCM was just a little slow. lol
    Edit 4: Now I'm having the problem that when using the "Equip" mode, it only equips in left hand. I can't find any setting to change this. Help?

      Set it to "Right Hand", when you press the button again in the menu you can cycle the hand assignment.

      It does not work, when I set it to "Right" it won't equip in left, when I set it to "Left" the right hand becomes bugged and equips "nothing". I can't cast using right hand like this. It does NOT work.


      Edit: The workaround for this is for me to have two of each keybind, one for each spell for each hand. Makes it very troublesome, but atleast it works (kinda) would love to see a proper fix for this however.

      I have the same issue with equip mode, maybe its because I use one button power attack and dual wield parry ? not sure

    For v2, is there a way to make it so one-handed casts don't switch both hands into magic animations even when using a weapon?

      There are no vanilla icons. Skyrim does not assign icons to spells. SkyUI does and only in a very generic way, everything else comes from other mod.

      And no, there is no version that just uses the interface icon because they are entirely done with .swf and when Rendering with imgui I don't have access to that.

    is there anyway to change the animations? I see nothing in OAR or MCM for it. I love the mod, but i dont like that i do a cast spell out of mouth animation for projectiles Lol

      in spellhotbar 2, is there any plans also for casting to be almost instant, for a more smoother/MMO like gameplay? (i have not tried it yet, if this is already implemented my bad)

      Spellhotbar 2 casttime is the spell's charge time, minimum 0.25s for animations to register. There is also the optional battlemage perk tree to get procs to cast the next spell with minimum time and reduced mana costs.

    Hello, this is an amazing mod! When I transform into a lich using the Undead mod, I can activate my spells (I see the cooldown after clicking), but they don't actually cast. Also, when I return to human form, all my spells disappear from the hotbar and I have to reassign them. Do you know how to fix this, please? Thanks again for this great mod — it really helps me avoid constantly opening the favorites menu!
