Is this still being worked on? The new models are absolutely stunning, but there seem to be a ton of clipping issues, missing textures, invisible walls, etc.
Ok ,this mode its a good idea and would change Rivewood in the really good way,But it has more issues as it been reported in the bugs section.Old items like weapons at Alwor are floating in the air. Children are sitting on non existent benches. The drunken guy at the Inn still leaning to the fence what is nonexistent anymore around the Inn.The added road texture breaking the Blended Roads one outside the gates on both sides in too much visible fashion..The gate what leads to the hills its closed so you have only one road open to the Helgen in the direction of the standing stones.Thats a minus for me.Npc-s got stuck on bridges and other places as i noticed ,got no AI overhaul or any mods what changes the npc behavior and pathing.Adding to that thing what i read from another user breaking the mainquest with Delphine its a big no for me sadly with 40 active characters all in different progress troughout the game with Alternative start installed i cant use this otherwise nice looking overhaul.I would recommend Blubbos Riverwood 2023 with JK-s Rivewood together to achieve the same mood what this mod doing so well.
Open RevivalRiverwood.esp in SSEEdit. Check the entries in Cell, Non Player Charactor (Actor), Quest and Worldspace. Since they're all duplicate entries (EXCEPT for "AbandonedShackInterior," which appears to be a new cell added,) you should see a display for Skyrim.esm and RevivalRiverwood, which allows you to see what was changed-- the "FULL - Name" properties in the Cell, NPC and Worldspace entries, and parts of the "Stages" properties, which changes text in the journal entries.
To make things simple, click and hold the "FULL - Name" property from Skyrim.esm, and drag it over to the same property in RiverwooldRevival.esp. Same for "Stages." This will restore the text to the way it was originally.
As for "AbandonedShackInterior," if you wish, you'll have to manually type in a name for that one. Couldn't translate what it was originally supposed to be so I simply named it "Abandoned Shack." (Likely what it was to begin with, but wanted to be sure. *shrugs)
This Riverwood is beautiful but sadly the name Riverwood looks almost like OOOOOOOOO when go out from Sleeping Giant in. Delphine's name to shows up OOOOOOOO just like every NPC in Riverwood
I appreciate and respect the effort of the mod author, but the bugs I have encountered (as reported by others) are just too numerous to justify this mod in my load order. Minus these issues, this would otherwise be an excellent overhaul of the town.
thank you so much this is work of art, stunning Riverwood mod. I saw review on it on youtube that Febrith Darkstar did and it showcased few tech bugs. I saw there was an update with fixes so I tested it out.
It look gorgeous on the outside, but sadly it's still a buggy mess for me.
- General huge performance hit on the outside - Sleeping Giant Inn is a mess. when you get in objects are flying around and falling, sounds like the building is crashing down until it all settles. Massive frame drop even more than outside, barely able to move. - Riverwood Trader shop looks great on the outside, completely unusable inside, inside space practically doesn't exist, once you get in there's only a counter right in front of you and stone wall appears behind you where you came in and you cant even get out anymore, had to reload previous auto-save. - npc AI messed up. Some locals seem to be confused where to go. your followers get lost when you run around village with them as well and stop following you stuck at a certain place some point, especially behind the mill
I SO hope these issues will be worked out in the future because this is one of the most beautiful Riverwood's I've seen :)
This is totally Beee-yoo-tee-fullll!!! But it breaks lore, unless that guard lied when he said Riverwood doesn't have walls... I mean it had kind of useless entry gates but it never did have real walls before just fences.
