  Some grass mods have closed permissions, so patches can't be made for them. Thankfully, editing the grass height for your own Overgrown Skyrim patch is very easy. (For more detailed information about grass records, check out: https://ck.uesp.net/wiki/Grass )
  
  How to Make an Overgrown Grass Patch:
  Any mod that adds new grass records will need a patch. You will only need to edit the grassrecords to make a patch.
  First, for any new Grass records, copy them as an override into a new ESP or ESPFE plugin.
  
  Second, edit the Height Range to your liking.
  
  The height range is the maximum height the grass can spawn as. Values closer to the original
  value will mean less height differences.
