People might not realize it, but this is a pretty big deal. There's lots of mods out there that cover so many different things in Skyrim, and there are some mods that cover some meats, but not all. Horse Meat is one of those ones that simply doesn't exist anywhere on the nexus. That Goat Leg in your screenshot is another, lol. So having said that, thanks for being the first on Nexus to cover something like this :)
I have 1172 active mods in my mod list, and not one of them retextures the horse meat. Since I'm not a texture artist and I was not able to find a mod (prior to this one) to fix the very low resolution vanilla texture, I simply had the horse meat mesh make use of the beef texture until I could find something better.
Thus, I am eternally grateful that you have made a proper retexture. So grateful in fact, that I will tell you how to make a patch for Eating Animation And Sounds as requested by NickusNL:
Simply rename your mesh file to: HorseMeatRing.nif Place it in a folder structure like this: meshes/TaberuMono/HorseMeatRing.nif Zip and install, ensure the patch file overwrites Eating Animation And Sounds, and your done
Edit: I just realized that you do not actually need to include the mesh with your texture files, for your original mod. You only need to install your textures, since you use the vanilla texture path, the new textures will automatically be applied to the vanilla horse meat mesh. This is the standard way to implement a texture replacer. You only need to include a mesh replacer if you made changes to the texture UV layout of the mesh (this does not seem to be the case with the mesh you include with the mod files). By removing the mesh from your files your mod automatically becomes compatible with Eating Animation And Sounds as it makes use of vanilla texture paths.
Thank you! Glad to hear you liked it. Regarding the EAS mod and the patch for it - I read your instructions and it looks pretty simple. But I do not use EAS and I have never used it before either. Well, I won't even be able to test whether the patch will work. Therefore, most likely, I will not do it. I only created a replacer for the ugly vanilla texture that really annoyed me.
Sorry, I can't do this. I'm noob in moding, only started learning it 2 weeks ago and still know next to nothing. At this stage of learning, I don't know how to make patches for other people's mods :(

Just thought I'd share with you how to go about it if one day you would like to make a similar patch for another project
