I lost total vision in one eye as you may have known and am now loosing it in the other eye. I am at the point I have to use text to speech programs to read things. I HATE IT. I am very sorry for those who are looking forward to further work and updates but it is not possible any more. I had a blast making mods and it was a a very rewarding experience. I will continue to keep my mods available for use. As for the Mods I have PORTED, any further work and updates will have to be by the Original Author if they with to do so. Sorry I haven't been working on my mods for a while. About a month ago, I lost my vision in my right eye. I developed a Retinal Vein Occlusions. What that means is there is a blockage in the main vein in the Optic Nerve and its causing the blood vessels in the retina to burst causing the loss of vision. It is usually caused by high blood pressure or high cholesterol. But, I am healthy, have good blood pressure, don't have high cholesterol, I workout with a personal trainer 3 to 4 times a week and eat a pretty clean healthy balanced diet. The doctors are confused and have no answers yet since I am 41 and healthy. It could be hereditary (Thanks Dad). I am now going to see a hematologist to see if there is anything else wrong with my blood such as a possible high clotting factor which could cause the blockage and stroke in my eye. I also have to get eye injections (OUCH OUCH OUCH) every few weeks to try to get rid of the swelling in my retina, prevent retinal detachment and help speed up healing. It will probably take a many injections and up to a few months before I see any results. I just hope the damage is not permanent. So, as of right now, I can only see out of my left eye. Its pretty hard to adjust and function because it's my non-dominant eye. But I am learning to adapt.
As far as the mods go, I was in the middle of a project involving a retex of all the foods and ingredients that are in bowls such as soups, salts, and so on. I will do my best to work on it and try to finish it as best I can. It is hard to focus and see clearly with just one eye. The project will just be delayed a bit now. Sorry folks. I'm doing my best.
I appreciate everyone for giving my textures a try. Thank you for all the comments and endorsements. My work is not finished. I will not give up. I will find a way to keep modding. I enjoy this work and enjoy being a part of the community.
Hey guys. I AM BACK!!! Over a year ago, I have lost all vision in my right eye and there is now getting it back. So I am done with the DR.s and moving forward with modding again. Sorry it's been a while. I will be working on my other mods to get them cleaned up and updated. Possibly redo them from the ground up. So look for some updates in the near future.
After removing this mod,my games crashes... I have tried it out and played a good hour with the mod,its nicely made but it was not exactly the look I was searching for in my game. Removed the mod to find out my game crashes on the loading screen. Do you know a fix for this?
I was in Bruma,did pick up snowberries along the way if I saw some. Did some quests after and went to bed. Day after I uninstalled the mod,logged in and crash... Found it also strange that a texture mod crashed my game. But I have no other mods causing it,it happens only if your mod gets uninstalled :S
I can't simulate the issue. I'll talk to some of the top modders and see if they are familiar with this issue and if there is a way to fix it. I know it's very frustrating when it keeps crashing. Thanks for letting me know.
Edit :Thanks a lot for helping out!! But I fixed it. Think there was a missing mesh/texture that conflicted with Veydosebrom. Disabled your mod. Reinstalled Veydosebrom and it was fixed.
Just to point out,your mod was nice to look at,but i m actually looking for snowberries that are not flat. I was looking for a more 3D version of snowberries.
It will always look ugly, no matter how good Dar's texture is. Requires a better 3D-like mesh because of the size of this plant, but such a mesh is not available.
Solution: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1128/? Reduces the plant to half size so you wont die of its low-poly ugliness.
Yeh thats what I was saying actually. I am not putting extra textures in my modlist if they are not exactly what I was looking for. The work itself is great but its not what I had in mind. And I think you don t get what I am looking for in snowberrie plants. I was looking for plants that give a bit more depth and specially on the berries. A 3D effect. I am looking for real balls as berries.
I know... It just looked different on the pics than what I had in mind. Gues untill some one makes a totally new mesh with all bells and whistles on it,I'll have to look at flat berries ^^ Btw Mathy did you see the post about the flora you were looking for? Believe Renthall has made them in oldrim in his early days. Normally I still have that pack.
Your first mod? Damn.. going by the images I am impressed. I'm happy with the overall look of the flora in my game, and it all fits together well, so I won't be installing this at the moment. However, I've put it on Tracking, and will give it a whirl sometime. Nice work!
I m pretty content with my overall flora also,however for some reason the snowberries always seemed flat and pasted. These actually look round and juicy. Tracking for now and will try it later on.

@mathy79.... Do you mean the overall flora of the game or the harvestable plants? If it's overall flora, there a few. Skyrim Flora Overhaul SE, Veydosebrom - Grasses and Groundcover, Verdant - A Skyrim Grass Plugin and so forth. These are all great mods. You can check out my mods because it covers some of the harvestable plants and soon will cover all the harvestable plants.
Not talking about the full Flora, talking about the non-harvestable plants. The bushes and the small trees (like juniper) that are low quality in SFO and cant find replacers anywhere.
Judging from the screenshots, I was afraid that the retexture would be too bright for my tastes. I tried it out and was very pleasantly surprised! These are gorgeous in game and blend very well with my current setup! Well done and thanks a bunch!
Thank you. Glad you like. The ENB I am using makes them look brighter. Plus, photos never actually do any justice on in game results. The results will vary depending on the ENB you use or for non-ENB users. Thanks again.
These look great and are easier to spot which is a plus for me but the ones covered in snow look funny and stretched out. I dunno if it's just my setup, im using Better Dynamic Snow

GREAT mod but snowberries a faded pinkish mess.. Looking for the DERP link

Try the reduced size. I am using the same technique for some other ugly meshes where better is not available.

florajuniper , reachshrub, shrub01snow, tundrashrub01 etc etc
I know some of those require 3D models, but still it looks weird that no one came up with something better than those old vurt's textures.
