    But I'm wondering if I have to set each pose for each new character at the beginning of the game...

      In IED use "File>Default config>Export" to save a default profile with all your settings that automatically loads on new games.

    What weapons do they pose with? Are the weapons from their inventory or from this mod?

      This mod only adds IED presets and animations, they'll pose with whatever weapon they are equipping, if there's a preset for it.

    Hi GiraPomba,

    I am unable to find the  "View>Display manager>View>Custom items", select "Global" preset for regular Two Handed weapons. The placement preset is there, but not the custom item one..

      It's there...

      - Click on "View" on the bar at the top.
      - Then click on "Display Manager".
      - In "Display manager", click on "View".
      - Then click on "Custom items".
      - Select "Global" tab and expand the "Presets" option and merge the presets available.

      Edit: Reuploaded the files, there was something wrong with the custom preset.

    Hi how do you make the companions don-t use the guard pose
    they walk like if they were holding a helmet

      Use faction condition = conpanions with a negate argument.

    GiraPomba i saw this mod called "carryable props" which is a port of a le mod, unfortunately it only works on the player character via spells to carry props like pots/pans, chalice, tray of drinks etc. I was wondering if you could take a look at it and maybe work some magic on getting it to work with IED?

    love the mod but I don't want to use the helmet in hand animation; any way to disable it?

      ..? I would just rather not have to add Dynamic Lowered Hoods & Dyanamic Armor Variants as they seem like they need quite a bit of manual work for compatibility with other mods. and without the two mods, the guards are wearing helmets, while also carrying one. It just looks a little goofy, and I'd rather just take the anim out. maybe I'm missing something here, sorry if it came off rude; just wanted to see if anyone had a clue how I could remove them myself.

      ... It's an optionial file. You'd need to select it in order to use it in-game.
      Remove the mod and reinstall it without selecting the Helmet option. If you don't want to remove the mod, then go to meshes/actors/character/animations/OpenAnimationReplacer/Guards Pose and delete the Helmet folder.

    I love this mod. I would like to combine it with your other mod Better Two-Handed Axe Position. But they seem to overwrite each other. Any fix for this?

      Manually apply the settings.
      Open the presets with Preset editor and copy the changes from both presets.

    Having some issues with the mod, the first is that the guards in the pose one hand and shield  they do not hold a shield in their hand, and while they hold their sword in their hands, they also have it in their scabbard. 
    Also the guards, when we hold the helmet in their hands they also put it on their head at the same time

      Read description for instructions. You're probably forgetting to apply the shield preset in custom display, if you don't use SDS with disableHideOnSit.

      And for the helmet to hide, you'll need to install Dynamic Armor Variants and Dynamic Lowered Hoods.

      I have already downloaded Dynamic Armor Variants and Dynamic Lowered Hoods. 
      I also use the Simple Dual Sheath

      Read description about the shields again then. You need to apply the custom preset if the one for Gear nodes didn't move the shield. Or you don't have Extra Skeleton Nodes installed.

      Try to use resetinventory command on the guards to force DAV to hide the helmets.
      If it doesn't work, then DAV is probably not working for you, which could be a conflict with something else.

    Mod works for one handed sword but none of my guards want to equip two-handed or halberds/pikes/spears

    Using sons of skyrim

      The guards need to have those weapons in their inventories and equip them. The game decides what, when and how the guards will equip the weapons. The presets are created according to the weapon currently equipped.

      I didn't understand at first but you're right. It was cause Sons of Skyrim was forcing them to have axes.
