This armor set looks great! My question is, is there support for females, and could it be turned into a replacer for the standard elven armor? I would love to use this as a replacer for the mundane elven armor in the game. Especially the darker texture that fits the thalmor far more appropriately.
It certainly could replace the standard elven if you renamed the mesh or rerouted the armor addons in the CK - to replace the texture you need to follow the steps I posted in a comment down below. I also have a sample added to the gallery.
If (and we did) have changed the Elvish armor textures, will this have impact to your armor? For example, I have ALL my Elvish armor/weapons in dark-"Thalmor" style. Will your remain as golden as it is in the pics?
The texture will stay the same, but to make it match a modded texture, you need to copy that into the same filepath (textures/armor/elven/m/cuirass2.dds), rename the texture from cuirass_d to cuirass2, and then open it up in a program like paintNET or GIMP and erase the same parts that are erased on the cuirass2 file. I currently have the aMidianborn dark elven armor texture replacing it on my own game.
No, I don't have permission from Cabal120 to upload it, and I could desaturate the texture a bunch but I feel it would be best to let users do so. I uploaded a sample image to the gallery and if you edit the texture you want as a replacer to match that image, name it cuirass2.dds, and place it in the elven male texturepath it will work. I can't upload it myself since that would violate the rules.

(It would be silly, having all Thalmor in black and that here... different).
