For a simpler aesthetic than what I make, the vanilla spell effects are really optimized and high quality, so there's not many things I can add/alter without changing them too much stylistically, still I managed to a few things here and there. I hope you like the results here~!
For those saying that this does not work in version 1.6.1170, as someone who is running MO2 and on said version myself, i can confirm that this DOES WORK! you just need to play around with the load order a bit. I'll break it down:
Many of you will have ENB Light, EmbersXD and this lovely mod by KittyTail. These mods ARE Compatible. Here how I set mine up to get it working, and it must be loaded in this order: 1 - ENB Light Version .98 Alpha 2 2 - EmbersXD 3 - Flame VFX
*When Installing ENB Light, There's gonna be a FOMOD for you. you can choose whatever you want in the FOMOD based off your load order, but if you wanna see the cool animations, DO NOT SELECT MAGIC HANDS. Everything else is fair game.
*EmbersXD is fairly simple as well, FOMOD and all. Do not select Fire-Magick addon. Choosing this option does something with the path for the NIF files, meaning you will not see the cool effects from this mod. **Even if you tick the magic addon, MO2 will read that Flame VFX will 'overwrite' EmbersXD, but it's a load of BS. I'm not a rocket scientist, but from what I understand, it seems as if MO2 reads the fire NIF files from both mods EmbersXD and Flame VFX, makes adjustments to determine which mod would be overwritten in your load order, which also determines which NIF files should have higher priority. At least, that's how I understand it. Feel free to correct me on my reasoning <3
i dont have ENB light, yet this mod still isnt working for me. Everything else seems to work and show on in-game. Do you know what could possible prevent this VFX from activating? I also deliberately chose it to load as last, thus overriding any other spell, fire mods i have.
I dont get it, its not working for me, i just see the normal flame effects.. I do have 100 mods and tried enabling and disabling other fire mods like Ember XD.. Even so, this one is simply not working for me.
Dude below, made it work, so i guess my mod is conflicting with something else.. I just cant figure it out.
Works just like in the preview video? Do you have some tweaks? Maybe adding inferno or embersxd?, i can't get the flame blooming like in the video... Help!
For some weird reason the effects on the hand aren't displaying for me... Everything works fine except that. im using Embers XD (with no magick fire addon) and also Inferno, but your mod has priority over them. Maybe another mod is conflicting. Would be possible to make and .esp o something to avoid being override?
