As far as I can tell from the source files of that mod, the only thing this mod would replace is the base Dragon Carved Armor, not the ebony nor gold versions which have their own nif files. I can add it to my to-do list for a patch but it's not a priority.
Managed to find time to do the fix today, turns out the primary nifs for the boots and body were the same, so just the gauntlets needed fixing. The fixes are in the misc files <3
