Well, the mod can't track gold placed in containers, so the gold there would be fine. In that sense, this mod discourages you to carry a lot of gold on you, since 40% of 10000 gold is a lot more than 40% of 1000 gold.
When you die, and a save is loaded, you are taxed in that loaded save. I could try to make it one of the other things you mentioned as well, if that's preferable.
Oh I see! Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I'm looking for something that:
- Gives the player more lives, like old games. For instance, player has, let's say "three lives". When HP = 0, player enters in bleedout, one life is consumed, money is taken, HP is replenished and then the player continues to fight. If the player enters in bleedout three times ("three lives"), the fourth time will reload a save, if the player doesn't have any money, reload last save and/or some other punishment might be added or configured through MCM (keeping the scope of this mod, let's say a permanent extra fee)
OR
- There are no "lives" and player simply enters in bleedout as long as there's money to be taken.
Of course there are a lot of options that could be woven into this idea, but I honestly prefer lightweight, configurable options. Because this mod treats it as a tax, it's possible to play around with fees, discounts and such if you're up to it, of course. Just the basics bleedout > money, no money = reload last save, would be cool.

i like the idea just the price is a.... lets say pretty steep.
If I die, is there a reloading screen to my last save and then my money is taken?
Is my character set to essential basically and when it dies (HP = 0) , HP is healed to 100% again and money is taken?
Or the character dies, but is revived where it is ?
Just trying to figure out if this mod is what I'm looking for.
