Thank you for this work. Could we have a compatibilty patch for : FYX - Windhelm Graveyard ? :) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/98260?tab=description
Hi, I just compared Yuril's mod and mine in a vanilla game, and I noticed that I haven't corrected the tombs' height. I'll fix my meshes. Both mods should then nicely work together (unless there are other tweaks I'm not aware of). Just place my mod after.
It seems that the whlanddead7.nif needs also some tweaks (floating object) ? FYX : https://i.goopics.net/qnlxz0.jpg Better Vanilla Gravestones : https://i.goopics.net/d1qnm7.jpg
it's me again... I don't know why (drawcalls limitation on my setup ?) but your whlanddead8.nif cause me lots of CTD near the hall of the dead in windhelm. ;( If I delete It, all seems to become good.
It's slightly higher poly with better UVs. It's kinda like SMIM bread. You won't notice the difference unless you pay attention to how atrocious the vanilla model looks like ingame.
Thank you! While I could see in these pictures that the tops of the gravestones weren't as blocky as vanilla, it was very obvious once I looked at these meshes in Nifscope. You didn't go overboard on triangles either. On average it looks like only about 90 additional triangles per mesh.

Edit: Ok so I've uploaded a new version which should fix the ctd.
It seems to be good now. :)
Edit: I uploaded the compatible meshes.
It's subtle (hence the "Vanilla" in the title) , but it's there if you look close enough
Great work OP
