Man it took me a looooooong while to find out that this mod was conflicting with Legacy of Dragonborn. I have over 1500 mods and for some reason this and Legacy together was CTDing on new game. Not sure if its just me but if anyone else is having problems like mine, there ya go.

Its probably because LoTD adds the book covers as well. But this Skypatch mod needs the book covers .esp, so LoTD doesnt have it.

it took me a while to figure this out..!

I am not submitting this to bugs since I am not sure if thats quite what it is but this mod has it so some skill books simply don't have their correct textures. I am using the Updated Version (esp properly renamed) and some skill books do not use their correct textures like The Refugees and Twin Secrets but some do like Liturgy of Duelists. I assume it is a issue with USSEP but I don't understand why it is acting like that when I believe this mod is supposed to cover issues like that.

Nonetheless, this is a great mod and I am glad somebody bothered making it.

I know you have explained the Book Covers Skyrim Updated Redux process multiple times already, and I get that I need to rename the esp in this SkyPatch to match the esp in the BCSUR mod.

However, what about the other esp files in BCSUR?

    • Book Covers Skyrim Updated0.esp
    • Book Covers Skyrim Updated1.esp
    • Book Covers Skyrim Updated2.esp

I assume these can be left alone, as it looks like they only exist to load the corresponding BSA files?
Just want to be sure I understand

Do you mind replicating patches from Book Covers Skyrim Updated?
For example crf or apothecary, i checked skypatcher ini and seems books from said patches are not affected.

    Hey :)

Since no references to formID's of Book Covers Skyrim.esp are made in the SkyPatcher INIs (rather, editorIDs are used), I guess it is safe to ESLify this mod's ESP, since it is below 2048 (or 4096 with header 1.71) forms and no new cells are in the plugin?

    Thanks!

Yes, it is. I did this with eslfy in mind and therefore chose EditorID. At that point, I decided not to convert the mod to esl flagged, as it needed a test. Apparently, no one has any serious problems with the mod, so you can make an esl version. I will publish it separately.

I mean it forward ussep edits etc and with skypatcher it doesnt important?

All esp patches for Book Covers Skyrim that are made in order to change other parameters in book records, except for book models, to others models, are not needed. Updated version uses identical models and paths to models as in Book Covers Skyrim.

Do I ignore that Vortex says that Legacy of the dragonborn are incompatible?

No. Book Covers Skyrim is part of the mod Legacy of the Dragonborn. Separate Book Covers Skyrim is not needed.

Sorry I forgot to write version but when I use the updated version, it makes conflict (Book Covers Skyrim Updated.esp)..... LOTD have a patch for Book Covers Skyrim Updated, but I don't think it will be a good idea to overwriter yours with it

If I played on English SE version, I need Book Covers Skyrim - SkyPatched or Book Covers Skyrim Cell and World - SkyPatched?

Asked, cos I need to rename one of both ESPs to Book Covers Skyrim Updated.esp

Rename SkyPatched Book Covers Skyrim.esp (any esp version from my mod's page) to Book Covers Skyrim Updated.esp,  If you have installed Book Covers Skyrim Updated REDUX 4K-2K

Ok, so I need to rename first one. (Book Covers Skyrim - SkyPatched, not Book Covers Skyrim Cell and World - SkyPatched)

      Thanks.

I'm a little confused with the wording used for using Book Covers Skyrim Updated Redux. Do I rename Book Covers Skyrim Updated.esp to Book Covers Skyrim.esp?

I don't want to mess with permissions, besides, I need to download a lot of mods to make patches for them. Maybe someone else will do it, or I will do it someday.
