    Anniversary Edition Notice

    Hi all. Any of my ENBs will technically work with AE version however, those presets that are (enb weather supported) require SKE64 and ENBHelper to identify weather codes and load the settings for that particular weather for best visuals. Granted, SKSE64 should be updated for AE but, it is looking like ENBHelper may not get updated due to author no longer working on Skyrim. You can use any of my ENB for AE but again, those that were designed for enb weather support won't quite look like it did on SE side. I apologize for the inconvenience. I probably won't do any updates to the ENB presets either until I see a more stable mod support for AE.

    Edit: Looks like SKSE ENB and ENBHelper have test versions out therefore, if you updated to AE make sure you are using the correct SKSE and ENBbhelper versions needed for your Skyrim version.

    Re-Engaged ENB Updated

    ---changes to 9.4---

    All Presets (2 Sept) Updated for ENB Binary .462. Adds in terrain parallax effect. Just note, at this time the setting can't be disabled/enabled in game. Has to be changed via the enbseries file.
    ---- Please read -----

    How to Install or Adjust settings- See videos on description page

    ENB Binary- Make sure you are constantly checking if you are using the most recent binary. Boris often updates without a version change which is important cause it often fixed bugs.

    AA- As of V2.0 I have add SMAA into the ENB (Thank you Rudy for help with this). It is up to you if you want to just use SMAA and/or TAA or FXAA or even both. Folder 3 I show how you can disable SMAA if you don't want to use. I still find TAA to be the best AA method though.

    Light/Lens flare - Currently (until fixed by Boris) lens flare is highly noticeable unless you adjust your skyrimprefs. It looks pretty bad. You will notice it if you are having issues. Open skyrimprefs and under [Display] look for bIBLFEnable= 1 and make bIBLFEnable=0.

    Animated Stars effect- This was added as of 2.0 due to enb binary .341. However, I do have it on but, it really depends on the star mods you are using. No mod is best and the animated affect works best with vanilla sky. You will most likely have to adjust the animated star settings under [Sky] to your preference and mod used.

    Night Eye- As of V6.3 I have added in Night Eye Fix (Thanks to Phinix, author of The Truth ENB). It works by default with vanilla night eye effect however, if you are using a modded night eye or vampire vision you may have to adjust setting to get to show. I have a video on the description page on how to set. It is easy.

    Issue downloading/extracting- Use 7-zip. Its a free program and will solve the issue

    Nights/Interiors too dark/bright- Use the quick adjustors in the enbeffectpostpass shader (I show how in folder 3 and "How to adjust" video). Or in the enbeffect shader for the time of day adjust adaptationmin setting.

    - Need more FPS- If you want the best quality but slightly more FPS adjust the following. Outside of game open the enbseries file and look for ResolutionScale-0.707 and SourceTextureScale=0.707 and change to 0.5.

    --- Special Thanks ----

    Thanks Rudy for helping me get SMAA into my ENB and Phinix for the Night Eye Fix. A true gentleman and a scholar. Of course still thanks to L00ping for getting reshade effects into my ENB as well in the ENB early stages.

    Thanks Maydragon/DarkDominion for being my regular testing and advisors on every update

    Of course thank you to all the user and supporters.

    If you notice and issues please let me know.

    Night Eye Fix (Adjustment and Issues)

    All, in recent versions I updated "Night Eye Fix". It is enabled by default in current version. It may need some user tweaking. Please see my how to video on description page. Also note, it is not a perfect fix. It has issues where it can conflict with spell, shouts and other effects if shares similar parameters that trigger the fix. No way around it at the moment.

    If you notice your screen flashes and turns a dull color when using a spell, shout or other effect its the fix triggering for a second. It is not a bug. If you don't care for this you can disable the fix in the ENB in-game menu under the enbeffect shader and look for "use night eye fix" and uncheck it.

    Snow bug/Bloom Snow bug ENB Skyrim SE
    Snow Bug. I recently started downloading mods and settled on installing ENB. The first one was SkyrimSE Re-Engaged ENB and I discovered a problem, all the snow textures started to glow. This is not a problem with this particular mod, I have tried installing many others but they all have the same problem. My list of mods includes Lux lighting, Lux Via, Lux Orbis and EVLaS. Weather Obsidian, weather and seasons. Mod for Skyrim 202X Downscale 2k textures. I tried to install ENB Hepler, but for some reason it doesn’t start using Shift+Enter. How can I fix this?

    Just sharing a comment in case this helps other users when installing an ENB preset. IF after your preset install and game start up, you notice you have blurry ground textures when you ENB is active (and inactivating your ENB resolves it)...

    Change the following three parallax specific settings in your enbseries.ini from TRUE to FALSE, so that they look like this:

    EnableTerrainParallax=false
    EnableComplexParallaxShadows=false
    EnableComplexTerrainParallaxShadows=false

    Then, clear out any items located in your enbcache folder. Finally, restart your game. Sharing in case this saves someone else who's also new to using ENBs some time in their troubleshooting. This still works as of ENB Binary Series v0.499.

    Loving this ENB in my load out. Thanks firemanaf for creating it!

    See you in the Cloud District!

    Do I have to use the ENB or can I use this with just Reshade? I switched to an AMD video card (6800 XT ) and was having troubles in FO:4 with the ENB and when I switched to just Reshade it fixed itself so I've been running only Reshade on my Beth games. But the Reshade archive didn't include a Reshade.ini file just the .fx files so... Can I install this with just Reshade?

    Very Dumb question but I'm new to all this. My game comes up in windowed screen which is accompanied with the Skyrim logo in the main menu to not appear when I installed this ENB. I hear everything perfectly in the main menu and can even click on creations and browse through saved games but as soon as I click to load in that game or try to start a new game the load screen pulls up for 1 sec then the game crashes. Anyone had this problem before? Please help out a newb lol

    Hi there! Got a question for anyone who knows what's up: is there actually an updated ENB binary?
    The last couple times I've booted up Skyrim in the past few days, a notification pops up while in the main menu saying that there's a new ENBseries available, but after checking the ENBseries site several times it seems I still have the current version (which at the time of writing this is version 0.499).

    Am I going mad, or am I supposed to looking elsewhere for the updated ENBseries stuff? Any help would be great, thanks.

      Occasionally ENB does a silent update without version change.

      It's not his site.  It's owned by Boris, and it's the binary used by all ENBs, not just this one.

    All I want is for my dungeons to be almost pitch black.
    I got excited when I spotted the !_LDungoens and !_LDwarven_Ruins INI in the enbseries folders....
    So....does this ENB USE them, and can I adjust the settings in those INIs and they will have an effect, or are they named that so the ENB WON'T use them?

    -OR-

    Are those !_L files meant as "Presets"?

    I just successfully installed ENB yesterday, after 10 years of failing to do it, so I need to ask.

    I'm having an issue with what I assume is multiple mods.

    The issue in question is about the "distant fog" when at the top of High Hrothgar.

    You can see what I mean here since it would take forever to explain:
    https://imgur.com/a/27z7BEy

    I'm using a combination of vivid weathers, obsidian mountain fogs, this enb for vivid weathers, and also Luminosity - The Cathedral Concept (just mentioning that last one in case it's a lighting issue).

    I'm not exactly what you would call an "expert" when it comes to dealing with game/mod bugs of any kind, so I thought I'd ask the community on each above mentioned mod's pages since I'll most likely find a solution that way.

      Hey that's not unfortunate my friend, those are good priorities <3
      I'm just going to by a 4080 super instead to get around the performance loss of using an ENB...
      It's like the more updated ENB gets the slower it runs compared to community shaders.

      Community only runs faster because it has fewer shaders/effects than ENB.  And the ones it does have are inferior.  CS is OK for people with potatoes that want a better than vanilla experience.  But is nowhere near ENB in terms of looks/effects.  Also, CS doesn't have the capability to use presets.

      If you are concerned about FPS loss (I doubt with a 4080 you get much), try SH2 Universal ENB.  It's very well tuned.

      I've been using this one for so long that any time I try other ENB's I just get distracted by them and come back.
      I'm not having issues with fps just saying that CS does run better and with this enb I use it for the colors and water settings... I love the water so much with this enb.
