You are a life saver. I used the ini edit that you mention at the bottom of your page and I downloaded it just so I could endorse it. Granted I didn't need to actually install this to make the annoying video go away after your tip, but I give you all the kudos and endorsements just for that one tip. I agree with many of you, we have a love/hate relationship with Bethesda. They give us the game, as buggy as it is, and our awesome modders not only make it playable, they make it even better than the developers.
Thanks for saving me billions of hours during my trillions of hours of modding Skyrim for the last half-decade haha! Pls accepted my belated endorsement and thanks :) Cheers!
I read something referring to sIntroSequence=BGS_Logo.bik in Skyrim.ini being responsible for playing the intro vid, so I took a chance and wrote sIntroSequence="" in mine, under [General}, and I no longer have to see and hear it every time.
Goes straight to the Main Menu. I don't have hundreds of mods installed (yet) so not sure if that will make a difference to the Main Menu loading time.
Sure Bethesda isn't really that great anymore, but I don't know about that. Without Bethesda, we wouldn't have any Elder Scrolls games. There'd be no Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, or ESO. It's still their game.
I would like to report that, in AE, my game randomly freeze on startup with this mod enabled. Only after disabling this mod the startup became stable. My assumption is that the game loading is too fast without the intro.
