Scammers are trying to part the people f Skyrim and their honestly earned money. You are also a target.

Occasionally (about once per week) you will get a scam letter via courier.
At the same rate unique NPCs in the world will get such letters as well, so you can find these letters if you are very lucky.
If and when you collect all possible letters (seven), a misc quest will start to locate the mastermind behind the scamming scene. The mastermind can accumulate a hefty amount of money given enough time. This money could be considered as a reward for you, the player.
The quest completes when you activate the mastermind.
If you choose to kill the mastermind, the flow of letters will stop and money will not accumulate anymore.
There are some global variables to tweak how often letter are sent and how fast the money is accumulated, feel free to check and change them.
The esp is flagged as esl and is compatible with all versions.
Update from 1.0 to 1.1
If you are not interested in milking money from the mastermind you can skip the update till the next playthrough.
Otherwise I recommend stopping the quest ok_scos_scamgeneration, update and then starting it again, to be sure that the updated script is used.
The console commands are:
stopquest ok_scos_scamgeneration
startquest ok_scos_scamgeneration
