I've forgotten to add this but with SPID some of the new spells will be given to Vyrther and Gelebor! Also, somehow I've missed adding Grand Cross on the mod page...
About the lore of these spells: My headcanon is that technically these spells aren't light or shadow magic. They're pure concentration of magical energy so dense they can sear physical objects. This is why they don't really glow in any color (colorless.)
I notice that in some videos not made by me, the particles do not appear as much as they should be appearing. If the effects in your game look barren compared to my videos, try this ini configuration:
[Particles] iMaxDesired=XXXX (Mine is 9750. I recommend at least 5000+)
I'm using the same old personally modified Mythical ENB from years ago if you're wondering what ENB I'm using.
I forgot I downloaded this and stumbled upon that ghostlight altar during my run through the Forgotten Vale. I thought, "huh, those look like some spells from Kittytail."
HOLY COW they are awesome and gorgeous! What a great addition to my Lightwielder spellsword's repertoire. I love using Absolution, Grand Cross, and Penance. I really want to find more opportunities to use Ordinance of Light, because that is one powerful nuke.
so vyrthur one of the main villains in the dawnguard dlc used the absolution spell on me the other day and if it was not due to this mod it may be added because of > https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/37228?tab=description but it was not in the FOMOD so I'm not certain. It distibutes spells to npcs and a lot of kittytails magic mods are in there
The spells look absolutely amazing! From my next playthrough if I'm going for a build that uses bound swords I am getting penance arm as soon as I can.
Though there is one very strange thing. The master level spell "Ordinance" does not seem to do damage. When I used it outside it seems to make a gigantic explosion which was cool but when I used it on actual enemies they didn't receive any damage. Is this intentional or is this a bug? When I open the mod with xedit it seems that it does damage to magicka and nothing else. If this was a mistake please fix it. This is one of the coolest looking spells I ever seen and I would love to use this to wipe out forts and big forsworn camps.
by default only 2 characters will use the spell from this mod. Of course you can give them to other enemies if you want to with your own spid file. I just thought these spells kind of don't fit any of the enemy in the game.
I'm trying to get these spells on an NPC via the CreationKit (not via SPID). Is there anything in particular that needs doing for these spells to work? I've set the actor's inventory with all of the added spells, set his combat style to csHumanMagic, and bumped up his magicka significantly but he can't be persuaded to use any of the spells (despite equipping one of them).
Anyways, beautiful work! I've never seen such amazing FX and design for spells in Skyrim <3
Never mind, I figured it out. You've very helpfully labelled the spells that are designated for NPCs (e.g. BL_Discharge vs. BL_NPC_Discharge). Whittling down my NPCs spell list to just those allowed him to use this pack's spells properly. I assume his AI was picking incorrect / non-functioning spells for him before.
Everytime I try to cast penance arm my game just automatically crashes. I don't know if its something on my end or if there is something wrong with the mod.
yeah probably not, just really can't find a good bound weapon mod like the one in this pack. I play in VR and the author's other bound weapon spells work just fine just not this one. In the templar magic pack the mace is just fine just really wanted this sword for my sword singer build.

@Kittytail Do you think enemies NPC capable of using these amazing magics if distributed by SPID ? :)

Btw, the creator upload new magic mods but not fixing the old ones. This is Nexus modding.
