I'm thoroughly confused by the espfe bit. Why have an empty plugin included just to be ticked off?

That's just my preference. I have profiles that use enb and profiles that don't.  If i change to one doesn't have enb, i can just disable it instead of having to manually delete it then reinstall it when switching between then.

But the fix is in the models, not the esp. Now I may misunderstand something since I don't use vortex, but I highly doubt meshes are tied to plugins in vortex, unless specifically redirected to be within the esp, which is not the case here. Disabling an empty plugin would do just that - disable the empty plugin but leave the models as they are in the LO

Lol well that's my duh moment of the decade. I'm used to making houses and followers and both use esps. It never occurred to me that it was the actual zip file that shows in the mod list tab of vortex. Lol i thought everything had to be packaged an esp, whether you actually used it or not, to show there, but surprise! Lol i have a LOT of esps to delete from my game. Lol I'll get it fixed as soon as I'm at my computer.

But anyway, I never notice that thing before. I always see it's how much better glass with transparency style.

It may be dependent on the retextures you're using. In my case it looked like there was no glass pane on the display. There was no reflection of any kind to indicate there was anything there. If you have that problem, use this. If you don't, then don't. It's that simple.
