Hi! Can I have some help? I downloaded the voice framework with custom Zevran voice and he indeed speaks some custom greetings until he stops responding altogether... I can't get in dialogue with him to talk or ask to follow. I tried it on my and my friend's computer.
I'll check the dialogue conditions again, maybe it's a problem on my end. In the meantime:
1) Do you have any custom followers installed? I know Auri (Song of the Green) and Livia Salvian at least have conflicts with any other mods that edit the follower quest. And since the framework is ESM-flagged, the changes those mods did will load after my change, resulting in the recruitment dialogue not appearing. 2) Do you currently have a follower with you? The framework doesn't have any lines for "You already appear to have someone following you", so the recruitment dialogue simply doesn't appear in that scenario. 3) Do you have any follower framework mod installed at all?

There's probably something overwriting the quest DialogueFavorGeneric in your load order, it doesn't have to be any follower mod. (I assume you also don't have Relationship Dialogue Overhaul? That mod is a compatibility nightmare...).
Or, and this is very unlikely, somehow Zevran isn't in the PotentialFollowerFaction in your game or his relationship with the player is somehow reset at 0. You can download ""make follower BAT" from this mod and try to run it on him, see what happens.
Okay just to make sure there really is nothing overwriting DialogueFavorGeneric, I have an experimental patch that just forwards that quest record. Put it at the very last of your load order (ignore what LOOT says). If the patch works, then there is something in your load order that edits the quest.

(And, to add; the vanilla male voiced Zevran mod from Nexus worked, I was able to ask him to follow, the custom voice one from https://karurawasabi.dreamwidth.org/11310.html did not.)
Hoping our Origins companions will appear in the next Dragon Age, I think I will actually faint if I see Zevran in an official Bioware game again. (Even if he's weird looking like in DA2 I'll take anything lol)
There is only a BSA archive (that could not be extracted because of an error) in the .rar, I don't think it is supposed to be so. The version from mediafire seems to work (didn't test in game yet), except that I got an adware from mediafire O.O
Something wrong with the archive/file. 7-zip will only extract what seems to be partial .bsa, no .esp and gives "Data error : Data\DAOFollowers - Zevran.bsa" error report.
On the other hand, the screenshots look very good. And 100% agree with the "I refuse to believe he looks like that in DA 2" comment from the description.
Edit. New version and mirror version both working. Thank you for the free mod.
when I tell you I went "OH MY GOD YEEEEES" when I saw him it was much louder than you can probably imagine. I am SO EXCITED. DA is my FAVORITE game franchise and this just made my entire year. Thank you!

Check their profile, I guess. The original mod is for LE but I'm sure there's tutorials somewhere for converting.
